What really sold me on this place though was the breakfast situation – it’s this generous spread with proper German breads, local honey, and they make eggs to order instead of those sad buffet warmers you get at chain hotels. The staff actually remembers your coffee preference after day two, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re dealing with jetlag. The neighborhood’s surprisingly walkable too; there’s a fantastic Turkish restaurant called Babylon just down the street, and a little Edeka for grabbing essentials. Honestly, staying here felt like having a temporary apartment in Leipzig rather than just passing through as a tourist.
