You know what struck me first about this place on Coppistraße? It actually feels like someone’s thoughtfully designed home rather than another cookie-cutter hotel room. The FirstClass 2-Room-Apartment lives up to its name – honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the straightforward title, but stepping inside completely changed my perspective. The space is genuinely roomy, which is refreshing when you’re used to cramped European accommodations where you can barely open your suitcase.

The location in Nord is pretty smart, actually. You’re far enough from Leipzig’s tourist center to avoid the weekend noise (trust me, those trams can get loud around Augustusplatz), but close enough that a quick S-Bahn ride gets you anywhere you need to go. I mean, Coppistraße itself is this quiet residential street lined with those classic German apartment buildings – the kind where you hear neighbors occasionally but it’s more comforting than annoying. There’s a decent bakery about two blocks down that opens ridiculously early, and the local Rewe is within walking distance, which matters when you’ve got a proper kitchen to use.

What really sells this apartment is the attention to small details that most places completely miss. The shower pressure is actually decent – I know that sounds silly, but you’d be surprised how many four-star places get this wrong. The kitchen comes stocked with real coffee (not those terrible instant packets), and there are enough outlets near the bed for all your devices without having to unplug the lamp. The Wi-Fi works throughout both rooms, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but somehow is. I also appreciated that they provide extra blankets without you having to ask – Leipzig gets surprisingly chilly even in summer evenings, and the apartment stays comfortable without cranking up heating costs. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s those little conveniences that add up to make your trip smoother. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hovering in a lobby while they “prepare your room.” You get your keys, you settle in, and you can actually spread out and live a bit rather than just crash between sightseeing days.

  Sehr schöne und helle Wohnung, die Bodenheizung im Bad ist auch der Hammer. Ruhige Lage, gute Verbindung um mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Stadt zu fahren. Im großen und ganzen hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

  Sehr ruhige Gegend, hatte ich nicht erwartet. Bus direkt vor der Haustür. Alles was man braucht direkt um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist modern und das Treppenhaus ist schön altmodisch aus Holz 😅. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer/Angestellten war einwandfrei. Für einen erneuten Urlaub in Leipzig ist diese Wohnung meine erste Wahl.
  
  What could be improved: Die Bäume in der Straße haben leider zur der Zeit den Gehweg verschmutzt und das ganze hat sich an die Schuhe geheftet und ist natürlich bis zum Eingang der Wohnungstür mitgekommen. (Ersatzschuhe empfehlenswert)
