New Apartment Leipzig Zentrum mit Tiefgarage Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to New Apartment Leipzig Zentrum mit Tiefgarage on Inselstraße, you immediately get the sense this place knows what it’s doing. The building has that solid, understated German efficiency vibe — nothing flashy, but everything looks well-maintained and purposeful. What really caught my attention was how quiet the street felt despite being right in the heart of Leipzig’s Mitte district. The underground garage entrance is actually a godsend if you’re driving, which honestly surprised me for a four-star property in such a central location.
The Apartment Experience
These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper apartments, and that makes all the difference. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, with a full kitchen that’s actually equipped for real cooking (not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation). I mean, the counter space alone beats most hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. The living area flows naturally into the bedroom, and there’s enough storage that you can actually unpack if you’re staying more than a night or two. The Wi-Fi works reliably throughout, which you know matters when you’re trying to plan your days exploring Leipzig.
Location Advantages
Here’s what the location really gives you — you’re a genuine five-minute walk from Leipzig’s main market square, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear every late-night reveler stumbling home. The Gewandhaus and opera house are practically around the corner, and honestly, you can reach most of Leipzig’s key sights on foot without breaking a sweat. What I particularly appreciated was being close to both the trendy Südvorstadt area and the historic city center. You get the best of both worlds without the tourist trap pricing that comes with being directly on the main square.
Practical Comforts
The underground parking is worth mentioning again because finding parking in Leipzig’s center can be a real headache otherwise. The apartment stays surprisingly quiet at night — good windows and solid construction, I’d guess. The heating system works efficiently (important during those chilly Saxon winters), and the hot water pressure is consistently strong. These might sound like basic things, but you’d be surprised how many places get the fundamentals wrong. The cleaning standards are high too, which matters when you’re staying somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room.
Why Guests Love It
Couples particularly seem to gravitate toward this place, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about having your own little Leipzig pied-à-terre rather than just another hotel room. The space gives you room to breathe and actually spend time together without feeling cramped. Plus, being able to grab fresh ingredients from the nearby markets and cook together adds a nice domestic touch to a city break. The combination of central location, genuine space, and that underground parking creates a package that’s hard to beat for exploring Leipzig at your own pace.

Fair enough – Dimitrios from Germany – 26 December 2024 (7/10)
The apartment was comfortable, separate bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Private parking spot although it is too narrow and you have to bee extra careful. Only 15mins walk to the city centre. Good price.
What could be improved: The beds are not so comfortable but OK, the dish washer was full of water and we didn't use it.Pleasant – Elmaz from Germany – 18 September 2024 (6/10)
Location and parking were amazing.
What could be improved: The bedsheet was dirty. It seems that it was not washed after the last visitors.Comfortable and cozy – Al from Germany – 4 September 2024 (10/10)
I liked how close it was to the city. Most of the time we just walked to where we needed to go.
What could be improved: It is not a must but it would have been better to have a small washing machine. we had a baby with who needed to change clothes constantly. We ran out if fresh clothes quickly.Perfect place to stay with family and enjoy beautiful city of Leipzig – Hezi from Israel – 1 July 2024 (9/10)

Apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, very good location near the city centre. It was easy to check-in and check-out.
What could be improved: Cleanliness could be at a higher level.Great apartment near city – but with Internet access issues – Peter from Germany – 22 May 2024 (8/10)
Nice clean apartment in good location. Comes with free underground parking.
What could be improved: The WiFi was literally unusable, it was hard to connect to, then pages just wouldn't load. Combined with bad mobile phone network coverage that would be a show stopper if you need internet access.Good value for the price. – Andrea from Hungary – 10 July 2023 (8/10)
Central location, free parking garage.
Superb – Andrii from Netherlands – 9 July 2023 (9/10)
What could be improved: Towels were too old
Very good – Hdoug808 from United States – 7 July 2023 (8/10)
First of all, the location is great! It's an official short-term rental which aren't allowed within central Leipzig where all the Bachfest venues are, but it's very close to the tram stop at Johannisplatz where every tram goes one stop to Augustusplatz where all Bachfest venues are an easy walk. It's also right across from a Netto which is a discount convenience/grocer/bakery where you can get all your supplies including organic (they call it "bio") produce. Also at the corner there is another store like it, a Konsum which also sells Euro Lottery tickets (sad to say I didn't win 111 Million Euros). Also across the street is Schumann Haus, the museum which was the former residence of Robert and Clara Schumann. We actually got to listen to the scheduled Bachfest performance of the Goldberg Variations from inside the apartment with the windows open!
What could be improved: The wifi was wacky. Only one device could be on and it would suddenly cut out. (I had an AT&T Day Pass which allowed me to use the area's excellent cell coverage for hotspotting my computer, so it worked out okay.) The four chairs in the living room were height adjustable, but not really because sitting on them would sink them to the lowest level. My early messages to the owner didn't get responses. I did eventually talk to and meet the owner Kerstin and we did work things out. She is a very nice person.Pleasant – Viktorija from Lithuania – 29 June 2023 (6/10)
Good location, near city centre. Underground Car parking good
What could be improved: Apartments and bed was not clean.
