• A comfortable 2 night stay in Leipzig – Cainia from Belgium – 14 August 2024 (7/10)

  Pick up of the keys at the petrol station was easy, and we found the accommodation without a problem. We managed to park for free close to the flat The flat is on the top (4th) floor with no lift. There is a microwave but no oven and a fridge without a freezer compartment. Looks more like a beer/wine fridge. The flat was clean and comfortable (beds and shower were good), and the surrounding area was quiet at night.
  We walked into Leipzig which took about 40 minutes and caught the tram back. The flat is a couple of minutes from the tramp stop. Leipzig is a lovely city and was worth a visit.
  
  What could be improved: Instructions on how to get to the entrance of the flat once through the main gate would have been helpful. Limited instructions on waste disposal.
  We did not know that Leipzig was a LEZ (low emission zone) city. Our navigation pointed this out when we set off. We luckily found a place selling the green LEZ stickers just over the border in Aachen, which closed at midday. You can order the stickers on line a few weeks before you leave.

  What could be improved: Eine Kaffeemaschine wäre vielleicht etwas praktischer als das Tabs-Teil von Tschibo. Aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.

  Dobra lokalizacja. Przyjechaliśmy na mecz Real Madryt vs RB Lipzg. Do Redbull Arena mieliśmy 2 przystanki tramwajem.

  What could be improved: The rooms were not really set up for 5 guests. The sofa bed was not made up.
  As other guests have mentioned so I was aware at time of booking, only dining seats for 4; and there are literally no large pots so you can’t cook things like pasta.

  What could be improved: Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war sehr gering. Und das Fenster in dem einem SZ ließ sich nur vollständig öffnen, wenn man das Bett verschiebt. Auch das Bild im Wohnzimmer ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, dies würde ich schnell austauschen 🙂
