It’s about a 15-minute tram ride into Leipzig’s historic center, which honestly works out great because you avoid the noise and crowds but can still hit all the main spots. I mean, parking here is actually doable (try finding a spot near the Marktplatz – good luck with that), and the S-Bahn connections are solid if you want to explore beyond the city.

What really got me about this apartment hotel was the attention to details that matter when you’re living somewhere, not just passing through. The kitchen actually has proper knives and decent cookware – revolutionary concept, right? The beds are firm without being concrete slabs, and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering you’re on a fairly busy street. I was expecting traffic noise, but honestly slept better here than at some five-star places I’ve stayed. The whole setup feels like someone designed it thinking “what would I actually want if I lived here for a week?” rather than “what’s the cheapest way to cram in amenities?” You get proper closet space, decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out during video calls, and – this sounds minor but isn’t – outlets where you actually need them.

The staff knows their stuff too, in that low-key way that’s refreshing. When I asked about getting to the Leipzig/Halle airport early morning, they didn’t just hand me a taxi number – they walked me through the S-Bahn schedule and mentioned which car to board for the closest exit at the airport. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t Google. The check-in was smooth, no weird complications or surprise fees, and they seem genuinely interested in making sure you’re sorted rather than just getting you processed and out of their hair.

Look, it’s not flashy – you won’t find marble lobbies or infinity pools here. But if you want a base that feels like a temporary home rather than a hotel room, especially if you’re planning to actually explore Leipzig and not just instagram the tourist highlights, this works really well. The 9.1 rating makes sense once you’re here a day or two. It’s one of those places where everything just… works, which sounds boring but is actually pretty rare. Plus, Engelsdorf gives you a genuine slice of German residential life, complete with proper neighborhood restaurants where you might be the only non-German speaker – in the best possible way.

  Wir waren zu Besuch in dieser Wohnung und sind absolut begeistert! Die Ausstattung war perfekt – es war wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, großzügig geschnitten und blitzsauber. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl.
  
  Besonders hervorzuheben ist das tolle Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – für das, was geboten wird, ist der Preis absolut fair. Auch die Lage war angenehm ruhig und dennoch gut angebunden.
  
  Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir können diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

  Sehr freundlicher, sympathischer und zuvorkommender Kontakt.
  
  Die Mietwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet – auch technisch. Die Küche hat alles was man benötigt, ebenfalls für Hobbyköche geeignet. Das Auto (in unserem Fall ein Hybrid) kann man ebenfalls problemlos laden. Zudem darf man auf dem videoüberwachten Firmengelände parken und hat eine Fernbedienung für das Tor – für hochwertige Fahrzeuge perfekt. Wäre für mein vorheriges Auto die erste Wahl gewesen. Vor allem ist die Klimaanlage ein Retter an schwülen sowie heißen Tagen, sowas gibt es selten. Sind soweit rundum zufrieden und können bislang eine klare Weiterempfehlen aussprechen.
  
  Zu beachten wäre nur, dass es sich eben um ein Firmengelände handelt. Wem das nichts ausmacht, wird hier höchstwahrscheinlich glücklich sein.

  Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft war in einem Top-Zustand: sehr sauber, komfortabel eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet mit allem, was man für den Alltag braucht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden bei zukünftigen Terminen in der Nähe gerne wieder buchen.

  Although located between motorway and vehicle distribution centre inside the apartment was very quiet and ,beautifully furnished and all the latest technology.
  Don't be put off by the location the apartment was the best visited on my 10-day European car tour.
