What really sold me on the location was discovering how easy it is to slip into Leipzig’s rhythm from here. Thomasiusstraße connects you to everything without dumping you in the middle of the chaos – you can walk to the Markt in about ten minutes, catch trams practically outside your door, and honestly, some of my favorite moments were just wandering the surrounding streets discovering those little cafés and bookshops that don’t make it into guidebooks. The neighborhood gets properly quiet in the evenings, which I appreciated after long days exploring. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (street parking is hit-or-miss, and you’ll want to figure out the resident permit zones), but the tram connections are so good you probably won’t need a car anyway.

The 8.9 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s one of those places that gets the fundamentals absolutely right without trying to wow you with unnecessary bells and whistles. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, the space was impeccably clean, and there’s something genuinely satisfying about making coffee in a proper kitchen rather than fussing with those tiny hotel room contraptions.   Stunning apartment in a stunning building. It was extremely clean and the washing machine was a great bonus.
