You know what caught me off guard about ZeitRaum10? The name had me expecting some ultra-modern, sterile place, but honestly, this little gem on Wurzner Straße has way more character than that suggests. I mean, yeah, it’s contemporary and clean – definitely hitting those 3-star standards – but there’s something genuinely welcoming about it that you don’t always get in Leipzig’s busier districts.

The Anger-Crottendorf location is actually pretty clever if you ask me. Most tourists gravitate toward the Zentrum, but staying here puts you in a proper neighborhood where locals actually live. You’ve got the Wurzner Straße tram line right there (the 7 and 12 will get you downtown in about fifteen minutes), and honestly, I kind of loved walking back from the city center in the evenings – gives you a real feel for how Leipzig works beyond the tourist bubble. There’s this great little bakery just down the street that does incredible pretzels, and the whole area has that lived-in vibe that makes you feel like you’re experiencing the city rather than just visiting it.

What really impressed me was how the staff actually seemed to know their neighborhood. The guy at check-in – I think his name was Thomas – didn’t just hand me a generic city map. He marked up specific spots, told me which U-Bahn connections to avoid during rush hour, even mentioned that the Saturday market on Eisenbahnstraße was worth the walk. That kind of local knowledge is gold when you’re trying to make the most of a few days in the city. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but the beds are solid and the bathrooms are properly updated. I stayed on the second floor and it was surprisingly quiet for being on a main street, though you’ll definitely hear some tram noise if you’re a light sleeper (bring earplugs, trust me). The WiFi actually worked well, which seems like a small thing until you’re trying to figure out train schedules or restaurant reservations. And here’s something I appreciated – the heating actually worked properly, which in my experience with German hotels in shoulder season, is not always a given. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but ZeitRaum10 delivers exactly what you need: a comfortable base in a real Leipzig neighborhood, run by people who clearly give a damn about their guests’ experience. That 8.9 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place that just works.

  Kommunikation war perfekt. Keine Probleme. Sehr gute Hinweise und auch interessante Informationen in einer Broschüre in dem Appartement. Wurde auch auf interessante Plätze und Möglichkeiten von der Besitzerin hingewiesen. Sehr nette Dame. Auch im Appartement liegen Infobücher über die Stadt Leipzig. Das Appartement ist zauberhaft eingerichtet. Dusche sehr modern. Zimmer mit sehr schöner Stuckdecke und liebevollen Details. Kann man nur empfehlen

  Schönes modernes Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsküche. Sehr sauber! Sehr freundlicher Kontakt. Privatparkplatz gegen Gebühr, dafür von der Hauptstraße geschützt.

  What could be improved: Very small for 4 people; no private living room or proper cooking facilities (other than in the communal kitchen). For this reason it didn't seem like good value for money unfortunately.
