The rooms feel more like staying in a really well-designed apartment than a hotel room – there’s actual space to spread out, and the kitchenette situation is clutch if you pick up groceries from the Rewe just down the street. What really sold me was how quiet it gets at night. Bornaische Straße has some traffic during the day, sure, but by evening it’s surprisingly peaceful. You can actually sleep with the windows open in summer, which is saying something for a city location.

Here’s the thing locals know that tourists don’t – Lößnig is perfectly positioned between the Elster floodplains and the city proper. You’ve got these great walking paths along the water that nobody talks about, plus you’re maybe fifteen minutes by tram to Augustusplatz. The S-Bahn connections are solid too, so day trips to Dresden or even Berlin aren’t out of the question. Parking was way easier than I expected (and free, which felt like winning the lottery after dealing with Munich prices). The staff actually knows the neighborhood – like, really knows it. They pointed me toward this little bakery on Gaschwitzer Straße that I never would’ve found otherwise, and their coffee recommendations weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. That 9.1 rating makes sense once you realize they’re not trying to be everything to everyone – they just do the fundamentals really, really well. It’s the kind of place you’d book again without thinking twice about it.

  Lage für uns optimal, Trödelmarkt, Nähe zur Innenstadt und zu diversen Seen mit tollen Radwegen. Die Wohnung sehr hochwertig und sauber, wir durften sogar schon zeitiger rein. Die Fahrräder konnten wir sicher in einem abschließbaren Keller unterstellen. Tolle Tipps von der Vermieterin.

  Tolle Ausstattung, so wie auf den Fotos. An viele Wohlfühldinge wurde gedacht, die in einer FeWo nicht selbstverständlich sind: Gewürze, Kaffee, Tee, Geschirrspültabs und zur Begrüßung eine Flasche Wein. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Bett sehr bequem.
  Super nette Vermieter die total unkompliziert sind und uns so sehr mit dem Check Out entgegen gekommen sind.
  Die Lage war für unser Festivalwochenende absolut unschlagbar. Direkt die Straßenbahn oder Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Parken in den beiden Querstraßen problemlos möglich. In 50m Laufweite Supermarkt, Apotheke, Eiskaffee, Bäcker und Restaurants.
  Wir haben alles daran geliebt.

  Sehr schön ausgestattet Ferienwohnung. Es war alles vorhanden und die Wohnung sehr sauber. Highlight war die Badewanne. Die Lage war für uns optimal.

  Goed uitgeruste keuken met vaatwasser en een fijne badkamer. Fijne sfeer en een heel compleet en schoon appartement. Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

  What could be improved: De tram voor de deur maakt 's avonds laat en 's ochtends vroeg geluid, dat hoor je best goed.
  
  In de badkamer zou een douchegordijn of een andere manier van afscheiding welkom zijn.

  מחוממת היטב, ועם מים חמים בכל שעות היממה. חלונות מבודדים את רעש הרחוב. מטבח מאובזר עם כלים לבישול והגשה .

  The accomodation is very convenient and nice. I've worked on the other side of the street its located on, so it was very convenient. The furniture are nice, the whole apartment is clean and well-lit. The owners are kind and flexible.
  
  What could be improved: The accomodation doesn't have an installed internet network, but I was informed, that they will solve this very soon. Also, it would be nice if they were install shaders onto all windows and if the accomodation would have a microwave. These were all of my concerns during my time there.
