th Hotel Leipzig Messe Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the th Hotel Leipzig Messe on Delitzscher Landstraße, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s in the Nord district, which isn’t exactly the postcard part of Leipzig, but you know what? Sometimes the best finds are in these slightly off-the-beaten-path spots.
The thing about this place is that it actually gets what business travelers need without all the fancy nonsense that bumps up the price. I mean, it’s a 3-star hotel that’s punching way above its weight with that 8.7 rating – and after staying there, I totally get why. The rooms are clean and surprisingly quiet considering you’re pretty close to the messe (trade fair grounds). Actually, that’s kind of the whole point of staying here if you’re in town for an event – you can literally walk to the Leipzig Trade Fair in about ten minutes, which beats the hell out of dealing with morning traffic from the city center. The front desk staff seemed genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions like you get at some chain places.
What I really appreciated was how straightforward everything was. Check-in was quick, the Wi-Fi actually worked (revolutionary concept, I know), and there’s decent parking if you’re driving – which in this part of town, you probably are. The breakfast was solid, nothing fancy but they had real coffee and fresh bread, not those sad continental breakfast pastries that taste like cardboard. The whole vibe is just… functional but comfortable? Like someone actually thought about what guests need instead of what looks good in photos. Sure, you’re not walking to the Gewandhaus or wandering through the old town from here – you’d need to hop on the tram or drive for that – but if you’re here for business or the trade fairs, honestly, this location makes way more sense than staying downtown and fighting your way out to the messe every morning. Plus, the rates are reasonable, which is refreshing when so many hotels think adding a fancy lobby means they can charge resort prices.

What could be improved: There was no coffee making facilities and the television cut out every five minutes or so when watching the Euros meaning I had to change channel and change back again. As I was watching football, this was a pain and the staff didn’t want to do anything about itEverything was perfect – Hans from Netherlands – 23 June 2024 (10/10)

New, clean, efficient – Arek from Germany – 21 June 2023 (9/10)
It is a new place, spotlessly clean. Easy parking (you'd like to come by car here), good breakfast, good value overall. You can also do late check in in the machine (I didn't need that but I saw it was there.) The location was OK for me – I came by car, on business, only for one night, had a short drive to the venue I needed to visit.
What could be improved: I had a car so I didn't mind the location. However the hotel is far from the centre.Superb – Marcel from Germany – 16 June 2023 (9/10)
Large rooms, free parking, interior and rooms in a very good condition, friendly and helpful staff, my recommendations
