So you know how Leipzig’s gotten this reputation as Germany’s cool younger sibling to Berlin? Well, this little studio on Riemannstraße is basically the perfect example of why. I mean, when I first walked up to the building, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect – the street’s got that mix of old Leipzig architecture and modern touches that you see all over Mitte these days.

The studio itself is honestly exactly what they promise with that “stylisch” part of the name. It’s got this clean, minimalist thing going on without feeling cold or sterile, you know? The kind of place where everything has its spot and somehow that makes you feel more relaxed instead of stressed about messing anything up. What I really appreciated was how they’d thought about the little things – decent lighting for actually reading (not just Instagram photos), a proper coffee setup, and thank god, blackout curtains that actually work. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you’re inside; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Leipzig, but everything they do, they do well.

Location-wise, you’re smack in the heart of things without the tourist chaos. Riemannstraße puts you close enough to walk to the Gewandhaus if you’re into classical music, but you’re also just a few minutes from all the bars and cafes around Barfußgässchen – honestly, some of my favorite Leipzig discoveries happened just wandering around this neighborhood. The tram connections are solid (always important in Leipzig), and I found street parking without too much drama, though weekends can get a bit tricky. One thing that surprised me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re so central. I guess the way the building sits back from the main thoroughfares helps with that. The whole area has this lived-in feel that a lot of city centers lose – you’ll see actual Leipzig residents doing their grocery shopping and walking their dogs, not just tourists following guidebooks. If you’re the type who likes to get a real sense of a city instead of just hitting the major sights, this spot gives you that authentic Leipzig vibe while keeping you close to everything worth seeing.

  Everything! The room was insanely comfortable and spotless clean. This is the hands down best hostel/housing I have ever stayed in it's price range. It is clean, calm and if you get the right room you have a great view of a church as the cherry on top.

  Perfect apartments with a magnificent view. Very comfortable in many ways, especially if talking about transportation. Nice location. Small details like aroma diffuser and fragrant soap and shower gel were making a mood and helped to relax. Nicely done loft interior and atmosphere. Would love to stay here again, thank you!
