Studio 180 Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Studio 180? It’s actually way cooler than the name suggests – I was expecting some generic business hotel, but this place has character. Located on Prager Straße (which honestly sounds more intimidating than it is), you’re basically in Leipzig’s beating heart without the tourist chaos that hits the old town squares.

The whole setup feels deliberately understated – three stars that punch above their weight, if that makes sense. I mean, you walk in and immediately notice they’ve done something smart with the space. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re designed by someone who actually travels and knows what matters: proper lighting for reading, outlets where you need them, and – this is key – windows that actually open properly. The neighborhood itself is interesting too; you’ve got real Leipzig life happening around you, not just hotel row stuff. There’s this excellent bakery literally two minutes away that the front desk guy mentioned (honestly, best pretzel I had in Germany), and you can walk to the main train station without breaking a sweat.

What really sold me though was how the staff handled things. Check-in was smooth, sure, but more importantly, they knew their city. When I asked about getting to the Panometer – which, side note, is absolutely worth the trip – the woman at reception didn’t just hand me a tourist map. She explained the tram lines, mentioned which entrance to use, even warned me it gets packed on weekends. That 8.3 rating they’ve got? It shows. The place runs well without feeling corporate or sterile. Parking was easier than expected too, though I’d definitely book a spot in advance if you’re coming during trade fair season – Leipzig gets absolutely crazy busy then. One small thing: the walls aren’t paper-thin, but you’ll hear some hallway noise if you’re a really light sleeper. Nothing major, just real talk. Overall though, Studio 180 nails that sweet spot of being genuinely local while still giving you everything you need as a traveler.

  Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
  
  What could be improved: Es befinden sich keine Jalousien vor der Balkontür,somit war es zum Nachmittag sehr warm drinnen.
  Volle Sonneneinstrahlung den ganzen Nachmittag.

• Perfekt für eine Städtereise nach Leipzig! – Benzing from Germany – 25 June 2025 (10/10)

  Alles ist neu und sehr individuell eingerichtet und es wurde nicht an jeder Ecke gespart. Im Gegenteil, auch Handtücher und Bettwäsche und die gesamte Einrichtung waren alle sehr schön und wertig. Die Lage ist super, auch wenn man mit dem Auto kommt und parken will, und ist trotzdem in 10 min mit der Straßenbahn in der Stadt. Obwohl die Wohnung an der Straße liegt, hatten wir bei geschlossenen Fenstern komplette Ruhe. Der kleine Balkon ist auch nett!
  Die Organisation war topp, immer erreichbar und alles wurde sehr unkompliziert abgewickelt.
  
  What could be improved: Ich kann eigentlich nichts aussetzen. Die Küchenausstattung war auch gut, nur der Korkenzieher fehlt. Aber da hat der sehr nette Nachbar ausgeholfen und dafür gibt es keinen Punktabzug – lässt sich ja schnell nachrüsten 😁 Uns fehlten Jalousien, aber die sind wohl inzwischen installiert. Die Wohnung wurde wohl gerade erst renoviert, daher wurde das Genannte sicher noch ergänzt (Garderobe für Jacken).

  Nette Ansprechperson, gute Größe für zwei Personen.
  
  What could be improved: Zum Sofa gab es leider keine zusätzliche Sofa-Decke ( zusätzliches Bettzeug aber vorhanden) und es wirkte sehr instabil. Bei Übernachtung mit 4 Personen vllt schwierig/unbequem.

  Die Einrichtung ist neu und sauber.
  
  What could be improved: Keine Verdunklungsmöglichkeiten an den Fenstern, die Ausstattung ist unzureichend, Die Wohnung war kalt und die Heizung ging nicht. Trotz Info wurde vom Vermieter nicht reagiert. Das Bett bewegt sich durch den Raum wenn man rein geht. Keine Ablageflächen in der Dusche.
  3 Wochen musste ich auf die Rechnung warten. Nicht gut für Geschäftsreisen.

• Geschmackvoll und sauber – Nau from Germany – 13 June 2025 (10/10)

  Die Wohnung ist in einem unscheinbaren mehr Parteien Haus. Sie ist sehr sauber und, trotz der B2 und dem ÖPNV vor dem Haus recht ruhig. Die S-Bahn Haltestelle ist fast vor der Tür. Restaurants und Gastronomie sind fußläufig zu erreichen.

• Unkompliziert und Komfortabel – Linus from Germany – 22 May 2025 (10/10)

  In dem Apartment hat es an nichts gefehlt. Super Ausstattung und sehr komfortabel. Auch der Lärm, obwohl es an der Straße liegt, war gar nicht bis kaum wahrzunehmen.
  Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war auch sehr unkompliziert und sehr zuvorkommend. Wie auch die Schlüsselübergabe und Rückgabe. Wir können das Apartment wrämstens weiter empfehlen!
