But when you want to crash at night, it’s surprisingly quiet for an area that’s supposedly “hip.” The street itself is mostly residential, so you’re not dealing with late-night party noise, which was a pleasant surprise given the neighborhood’s reputation.

The hotel itself has this deliberate mismatched aesthetic – vintage furniture mixed with modern touches, exposed brick here and there, that sort of thing. Some rooms are definitely better than others (I’d ask to see yours if possible), but even the smaller ones have character. The 7.2 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury by any stretch, but there’s genuine charm here that you won’t find in those sterile chain hotels. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood well enough to give decent recommendations. Parking can be a bit tricky during the day since it’s street parking mostly, but evenings aren’t bad.

What really won me over was how the place captures that whole East Leipzig transformation story – you’re staying in a part of the city that’s still figuring itself out, somewhere between its industrial past and whatever it’s becoming. It’s not for everyone, sure, but if you want to experience Leipzig beyond the touristy old town stuff, this gives you a genuine taste of how locals actually live. Plus, the S-Bahn connection into the center is dead simple from here, so you’re never really cut off from anything important.

  Bett Schlafzimmer gut. Lage OK.

  . Keine Kritik nur ein Hinweis : Zur Aufenthaltszeit Große Straße geperrt Baustelle. Deshalb kein Verkehr. Ganz Ruhig ist es dennoch nicht wenns Fenster im Nebnzimmer offen ist.

  Ich war schon einmal in dieser Wohnung und habe sie gewählt, da die Lage wirklich sehr gut ist. Sehr Innenstadt nah, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und direkt vor der Haustür Bus und Straßenbahn, trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig in der Wohnung.
  
  What could be improved: In der Küche ist die Heizung nicht richtig warm geworden. Ich hätte mich über mehr Lichtquellen gefreut. Eine Deckenlampe im Wohnzimmer ist z.B. zum Lesen nicht genug, jedenfalls für mich.

  Wir haben die Anleitung für die Schlüsselübernahme übersehen und wurden telefonisch sehr freundlich für den Schlüsselerwerb angeleitet.
  Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft war auch sehr gut.
  
  What could be improved: Leider lag bei Ankunft und wären unseres Aufenthalts leicht feuchte (Bett-)Wäsche im Trockner.
  Wir gehen davon aus, das dieses kein Einzelfall ist, da unsere bezogene Bettwäsche sehr muffig roch.
  Auch lag bei uns unter dem Bett sehr viel Staub und eine leere Kondomverpackung.
  Die Parkverhältnisse sind abends etwas verzwickt.

  Просторные апартаменты, рядом трамвайная и автобусная остановки (можно быстро добраться до центра города). В здании есть лифт. Кухня оборудованна всем необходимым. Заселение было организованно безконтактно, что для нас было удобно.

  Die Lage ist super. Ausstattung war soweit ok, wenn auch nicht alles funktionstüchtig war.

  Der Router musste mehrmals neu gestartet werden. Lampe im Bad funktionierte nicht und das große Licht flackert.

  Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, da die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gut erreichbar, d.h. in diesem Fall auch sehr nah sind. Außerdem ist die Lage zentral. Bei geschlossenen Fensterns sehr ruhig.
  
  What could be improved: Wenn die Schlafcouch belegt ist, gibt es keine bequeme, gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeit. Die Sauberkeit in der Küche, speziell beim Backofen, hat sehr zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Spülen nur unter fließendem Wasser möglich, da es keinen Verschluss gibt, außerdem hätte ich mir eine Anleitung zum Mülltrennen gewünscht, welcher Müll in welchen Mülleimer.
