You know what struck me first about this place? The name is incredibly honest – it literally tells you exactly what you’re getting, which I actually appreciate after dealing with so many overly clever hotel names that don’t mean anything. This apartment sits right on Brandenburger Straße in Leipzig’s Mitte district, and when they say “very central near the train station,” they mean it. I’m talking maybe a five-minute walk to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof, which honestly makes your life so much easier whether you’re coming from the airport or exploring other German cities.

The location is pretty brilliant if you know Leipzig at all. You’re basically in the sweet spot where you can walk to the Nikolaikirche and all the historic stuff in the old town, but you’re also close enough to the more happening areas around Karl-Liebknecht-Straße where the younger crowd hangs out. I mean, you can literally roll out of bed and be at one of those great little cafes on Gottschedstraße in ten minutes – and trust me, you’ll want to because the coffee scene here is actually fantastic. The building itself has that solid East German architecture feel, which sounds boring but it’s actually kind of charming once you’re inside, plus it means the walls are thick so you won’t hear much street noise even though you’re right in the center of things.

What really sets this apart though is the space – up to 10 people, which is rare to find in city centers without paying absolutely insane prices. The 9.1 rating makes sense once you experience how thoughtfully everything’s set up. It’s not trying to be some Instagram-perfect boutique place, but rather it’s designed by someone who clearly understands what groups actually need when they’re staying somewhere. The kitchen is properly equipped (I’m talking real knives and decent pans, not the usual apartment rental nonsense), and there’s enough seating so everyone isn’t cramped together. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of Mitte – it’s typical city center stuff where you might need to walk a block or two from a garage, but honestly that’s Leipzig for you, and the trade-off for being able to walk everywhere is totally worth it. The check-in was surprisingly smooth too, which matters more than people think when you’re coordinating a larger group’s arrival times. If you’re planning to explore beyond Leipzig, that train station proximity is clutch – you can be in Dresden in just over an hour, Berlin in about two and a half hours, and the S-Bahn connections to places like the Völkerschlachtdenkmal are right there.

  Schöne große zentrale Wohnung in Leipzig für kleine Gruppe. Gute Betten. Netter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Fehlende Sachen wurden schnell gebracht.
  
  What could be improved: Wohnung liegt an stark befahrener Straße. Fenster mussten wir nachts schließen. Wohnung für max. 8 Personen.
  Leider nur ein Bad und eine Toilette, aber das weiß man ja vorher.

  Die Wohnung war für uns drei sehr geräumig.
  Es war alles da, was wir brauchten.
  In 5 min Laufdistanz ist ein Konsum und in gleicher Entfernung in anderer Richtung ein leckerer Bäcker. Die Innenstadt war nahe genug, für uns zum Laufen.
  Einen festen Parkplatz für die Wohnung gab es auch.
  
  What could be improved: Der Verkehr außenherum. Die Fenster sind zwar schallisoliert aber nachts und frühmorgens war es für uns trotzdem etwas zu laut.

  What could be improved: Von dem Außenbereich darf man sich nicht abschrecken lassen! Bei offenem Fenster ist es zu laut – speziell beim Schlafen.

  L’appartamento è spazioso e accogliente, ben attrezzato e ben arredato. Ogni comfort presente e gestore molto gentile e disponibile.
  A 5 min a piedi dal tram con cui si raggiunge comodamente il centro e a 8 min a piedi dalla stazione.
