You’ve got the S-Bahn connection that’ll get you into Leipzig proper in about 15 minutes, but when you come back in the evening, it’s genuinely quiet – like, you can actually sleep without sirens and late-night revelers.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, which explains that solid 8.5 rating. You know what I appreciated? Having a proper kitchen where you can make coffee the way you like it in the morning, or grab groceries from the nearby shops and actually cook something decent. There’s this Netto just a few streets over, and honestly, being able to stock up on German bread and local stuff made the whole stay feel more authentic. The area around Seumestraße is pretty walkable – nothing fancy, but you’ve got everything you need within reasonable distance. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s tried to park in Leipzig’s Innenstadt will appreciate. I’d say this place works especially well if you’re planning to explore beyond just the main tourist spots, maybe checking out the Leipzig region or if you’re here for something at the university. It’s not going to win any design awards, but it’s comfortable and functional in that no-nonsense German way that just works.

  Beautiful apartment, spacious, on a quiet street.
  Considerably close to the lake which is amazing.
  For two people (sisters) was amazing because we had two seperate rooms far from each other, we had complete personal space:) but if more people: the smallest bedroom is only accessible through the biggest bedroom, so that can be an issue for some. There is still a totally separate bedroom. So actually lots of sleeping place:)
  Very good heating system, even on a cold early summer time.
  
  What could be improved: Is a little bit far from the center, but maybe if the tram isn't under construction, then is not so disturbing.
  There were no towels and toiletries.

  What could be improved: Momentan war Schienenersatzverkehr, damit die Anfahrt in die Innenstadt verlängert.
