The Auensee itself is right there – I’d walk over in the mornings with coffee and watch people jogging or walking their dogs. Super peaceful, especially if you’re coming from somewhere hectic. The apartment itself feels properly new, like someone actually cared about the details rather than just slapping together the cheapest furniture they could find. Kitchen’s well-stocked enough that you can cook real meals, which honestly saved me a ton of money during a longer stay.

What really sealed it for me was how quiet it gets at night – you’re far enough from the main drag that you don’t get the late-night tram noise or drunk tourists stumbling around, but close enough that a quick trip into Leipzig proper isn’t a whole production. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places that doesn’t look like much in photos but works really well in practice. Parking was straightforward (always a relief in Germany), check-in was refreshingly human instead of some complicated app situation, and the whole thing just felt… well, like someone who actually travels designed it. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to explore Leipzig without dealing with city center prices and crowds every single day.

  Kaffee hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Kaffeesahne hat sehr gepasst. Kaffeemaschine war leicht zu bedienen. Kühlschrank hat auf uns gewartet, so, dass wir, ohne zu zögern unseres mitgebrachten Snack retten konnten.

  Schlicht, zweckmäßig, modern. Schöne Wohnung, alles tipptop in Ordnung und sauber.. Sehr schöne Gegend. Haus Auensee in 20 Fuß Minuten zu erreichen. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel gehen auch. Kaufland in 5 Minuten Entfernung. Die Küchenausstattung ist solide, die Kaffeemaschine toll, ykaffee und Tee inklusive.

  Wir waren zum Konzert im Haus Auensee – fußläufig in 20min gut zu erreichen. Sehr ruhiges Apartment, gute Ausstattung – sauber – die Küche technisch auf dem neusten Stand.
  
  What could be improved: Parken an dem Haus/in der Straße am Sonntag nicht möglich. Nebenstraßen waren auch alle dicht – mussten bisschen suchen.
