New Apartment Leipzig Zentrum mit Tiefgarage Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “New Apartment Leipzig Zentrum mit Tiefgarage” I thought it was going to be one of those sterile business hotel situations. But walking into this place on Inselstraße actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right in Mitte, which means you’re basically in the heart of everything without the tourist chaos you get closer to the Marktplatz. The building itself has this interesting mix of old Leipzig charm with genuinely modern renovations – not the fake-fancy stuff you see everywhere, but thoughtful updates that actually work.

What really sold me was the underground garage situation. I mean, if you’ve ever tried to park in Leipzig’s city center, you know what a nightmare it can be, especially during the Christmas markets or when there’s something big happening at the Gewandhaus. Having that guaranteed spot downstairs? Game changer. The apartments themselves feel more like someone’s well-designed city flat than a hotel room – there’s actual counter space in the kitchen area (shocking, I know), and the windows are properly soundproofed, which matters when you’re this close to the action. You know what impressed me most though? The little details. Decent coffee setup, USB ports where you actually need them, and the shower pressure doesn’t make you question your life choices.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Leipzig rather than just visiting. You’re a five-minute walk from the trendy stuff happening around Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, but far enough from the late-night bar crowds that you’ll actually sleep. The Hauptbahnhof is close enough for easy arrivals but not so close that you hear train announcements at dawn. There’s this great little bakery just around the corner that locals actually go to – not touristy at all – and you’re walking distance to both the fancy shopping areas and the more authentic neighborhoods where students and artists hang out. I stayed here during one of those gray February weeks when Leipzig can feel pretty moody, but honestly, having a proper space to spread out made all the difference. It’s not luxury in the marble-and-champagne sense, but it’s comfortable in that rare way where everything just works like it should.

Reviews of New Apartment Leipzig Zentrum mit Tiefgarage

  • Fair enough – Dimitrios from Germany – 26 December 2024 (7/10)

The apartment was comfortable, separate bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Private parking spot although it is too narrow and you have to bee extra careful. Only 15mins walk to the city centre. Good price.

What could be improved: The beds are not so comfortable but OK, the dish washer was full of water and we didn't use it.

  • Pleasant – Elmaz from Germany – 18 September 2024 (6/10)

    Location and parking were amazing.

What could be improved: The bedsheet was dirty. It seems that it was not washed after the last visitors.

  • Comfortable and cozy – Al from Germany – 4 September 2024 (10/10)

I liked how close it was to the city. Most of the time we just walked to where we needed to go.

What could be improved: It is not a must but it would have been better to have a small washing machine. we had a baby with who needed to change clothes constantly. We ran out if fresh clothes quickly.

  • Perfect place to stay with family and enjoy beautiful city of Leipzig – Hezi from Israel – 1 July 2024 (9/10)

    Everything was perfect
.The apartment was very clean, comfortable and quiet, perfect location close to the center and trams.
    Very nice backyard.
The host is very welcoming, nice and responsive to any request.
We were 6 people in the 3 rooms apartment and it was lots of space for everyone.
    .Very nice and equipped kitchenette
    Highly recommended!

What could be improved: some wifi issues

  • Good value for the money – Ksenija from Germany – 13 June 2024 (8/10)

Apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, very good location near the city centre. It was easy to check-in and check-out.

What could be improved: Cleanliness could be at a higher level.

  • Great apartment near city – but with Internet access issues – Peter from Germany – 22 May 2024 (8/10)

Nice clean apartment in good location. Comes with free underground parking.

What could be improved: The WiFi was literally unusable, it was hard to connect to, then pages just wouldn't load. Combined with bad mobile phone network coverage that would be a show stopper if you need internet access.

  • Good value for the price. – Andrea from Hungary – 10 July 2023 (8/10)

    Central location, free parking garage.

  • Superb – Andrii from Netherlands – 9 July 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: Towels were too old

  • Very good – Hdoug808 from United States – 7 July 2023 (8/10)

First of all, the location is great! It's an official short-term rental which aren't allowed within central Leipzig where all the Bachfest venues are, but it's very close to the tram stop at Johannisplatz where every tram goes one stop to Augustusplatz where all Bachfest venues are an easy walk. It's also right across from a Netto which is a discount convenience/grocer/bakery where you can get all your supplies including organic (they call it "bio") produce. Also at the corner there is another store like it, a Konsum which also sells Euro Lottery tickets (sad to say I didn't win 111 Million Euros). Also across the street is Schumann Haus, the museum which was the former residence of Robert and Clara Schumann. We actually got to listen to the scheduled Bachfest performance of the Goldberg Variations from inside the apartment with the windows open!

What could be improved: The wifi was wacky. Only one device could be on and it would suddenly cut out. (I had an AT&T Day Pass which allowed me to use the area's excellent cell coverage for hotspotting my computer, so it worked out okay.) The four chairs in the living room were height adjustable, but not really because sitting on them would sink them to the lowest level. My early messages to the owner didn't get responses. I did eventually talk to and meet the owner Kerstin and we did work things out. She is a very nice person.

  • Pleasant – Viktorija from Lithuania – 29 June 2023 (6/10)

Good location, near city centre. Underground Car parking good

What could be improved: Apartments and bed was not clean.
