The first thing you’ll notice is that floor-to-ceiling shower they mention in the name. It’s not just marketing speak; they really built this bathroom right. After walking around Leipzig all day (and trust me, you’ll do plenty of walking), stepping into that shower feels like a proper reset. The kitchen situation is equally solid – not one of those fake kitchenettes with a broken hotplate, but actual counter space and appliances that work. I actually cooked dinner a couple nights because the local Rewe is just a short walk away, and sometimes you get tired of restaurant hunting, you know? The washing machine is tucked away neatly, which sounds boring until you realize you can pack light and just do laundry mid-trip.

Location-wise, Süd puts you in this sweet spot where you’re still connected to everything but away from the tourist chaos around the Markt. The tram connections from this part of Arthur-Hoffmann-Straße get you into the Zentrum in maybe fifteen minutes, and there’s something nice about coming back to a quieter neighborhood in the evenings. The street itself is pretty calm – I never had issues with noise, even with the windows open during those warm summer nights. Parking was straightforward too, though like anywhere in Leipzig, you’ll want to pay attention to the signs. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you stay here; it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just… works. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi didn’t drop out, and the little details were thought through properly. Honestly, after staying in places where the shower pressure is terrible or the kitchen barely functions, you start appreciating when someone actually sets up an apartment for real living instead of just looking good in photos.

  Die Ferienwohnung ist modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Einchecken durch eine vorab gesendete Nachricht mit bebilderter Beschreibung super einfach. Trotz Straße vor der Tür ist die Ferienwohnung bei geschlossenem Fenster ruhig. Den kleinen Balkon haben wir zum entspannen genossen. In der Nähe ist die Karl-Liebknecht-Straße mit super vielen Restaurants und Bars und auch zum Shoppen bestens geeignet. Wir hatten ein sehr netten Kontakt mit den Gastgeber.

  Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig. Die Lage ist zentral. Gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.

  Apartment was very clean, much thought has been put into making it look homey, had all the supplies we needed and a large kitchen space for cooking. Easy street parking. Host very responsive, and it was easy to get in and out!
  
  What could be improved: It wasn't clear to me because I didn't look at all the pictures thoroughly, but it's not a 2-bedroom like the description says. It's a 1 bedroom that has a second bed in the living room along with the couches, dining table, etc. So it was difficult for the person sleeping in the living room. Also the train right outside can be quite annoying at night – bring earplugs!
