Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Leipzig, and MEOS 3 is honestly one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret. It’s tucked away on Paul-List-Straße in Mitte – you know, that perfectly positioned spot where you’re close enough to everything but not drowning in tourist chaos. The whole “Zentrum-Hofblick-Gym-Netflix” thing in the name might sound like they’re trying too hard, but actually? They deliver on all of it.

The courtyard view (that’s the Hofblick part) is genuinely lovely – I mean, it’s not some grand palace courtyard, but there’s something really calming about looking out at this quiet interior space instead of street traffic. The gym situation is solid too, which honestly surprised me because hotel gyms are usually just sad treadmills and broken weights. Here you can actually get a proper workout in without feeling like you’re in a broom closet. And yeah, Netflix works perfectly – I tested it extensively during a rainy afternoon, obviously for research purposes.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve nailed the details that matter. The wifi actually works throughout the building (shocking, I know), and the rooms have this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from the Marktplatz, maybe five minutes to some of my favorite little cafés around Gottschedstraße. The whole Mitte area is walkable – you can hit the Gewandhaus, wander through the old town, grab dinner at places only locals know about, all without needing transport.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no weird complications or surprise fees. The building itself has character but doesn’t feel old in that “charming but the plumbing doesn’t work” way. I stayed during a busy conference week when half of Leipzig seemed to be booked solid, and it was still peaceful in the evenings – the courtyard setup really does buffer the street noise. The 9.8 rating isn’t just inflated booking site nonsense either; you can tell they actually care about the experience. It’s not trying to be some flashy luxury palace, just a really well-executed place to stay that gets the fundamentals right and throws in some thoughtful extras.

  Die Wohnung ist top komfortabel ,sinnvoll angelegt und Alles da, was man braucht.
  Sie ist stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet.
  Wir haben ruhig geschlafen und es sind gute Betten.
  Die Lage hinter der Uniklinik war für uns wichtig.
  Zugangscode, Türöffnung funktioniert gut.

  Right place to stay if you visit Clinic and city center is not far. Everything was clean and planning of the room was good. Hospitable hosts will try to make your stay easy and you will want to book this place again during next time.
  
  What could be improved: To get to the elevator from the entrance of the building, you have to step a few steps down or to the first floor, but if you are a healthy person, then you don't have to worry about it.

  Gastgeber und Kontakt waren ausgesprochen freundlich und angenehm. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Bett wunderbar bequem. Jedes Detail wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail bedacht, von den synchronisierten Radios bis hin zur schön gestalteten Lektüre über Leipzig. Sehr positive Energie ✨

  Zentrale Lage, sehr ruhig, Betreuung läßt es an nichts mangeln. Küchenzeile läßt kaum Wünsche offen. Nespresso Kapseln für den Anreisetag vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr umsorgt gefühlt.
