The location on Paul-List-Straße puts you right in the thick of Mitte without the tourist chaos you get closer to the Markt. You’re actually walking distance from the Grassi Museum (which, honestly, most people skip but shouldn’t), and there’s this fantastic little bakery just around the corner that locals queue up at every morning.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to those details that actually matter when you’re traveling. The gym isn’t some sad treadmill in a basement – it’s properly equipped, and you know what? Sometimes you need that after too many schnitzel dinners. The Netflix setup might sound gimmicky, but after a long day exploring the city or sitting through business meetings, being able to collapse and watch something familiar in English was honestly perfect. The rooms have this courtyard view (the “Hofblick” they mention) which means you’re not getting street noise at night – something I definitely appreciated since Leipzig can get surprisingly lively, especially around the student areas nearby.

The staff clearly know what they’re doing, and I got the sense they’re used to both business travelers and tourists, which creates this nice middle ground where things run smoothly without feeling stuffy. Check-in was quick, they had solid recommendations for dinner spots (steered me toward Auerbachs Keller, which I probably would’ve dismissed as too touristy otherwise), and the WiFi actually worked properly throughout the building. I mean, that 9.9 rating isn’t coming from nowhere – you can feel the effort they put into making sure everything just works. The only minor thing I’d mention is that breakfast isn’t included, but honestly, with Leipzig’s café scene right outside your door, that’s hardly a problem. If you’re planning to explore the city properly – maybe catch something at the Gewandhaus or spend time in the Plagwitz district – this is the kind of base that makes everything easier without breaking the bank.

  Wir sind begeistert von diesem Apartment. Das Ankommen war leicht mit Hilfe einer ausgezeichneten digitalen Gästemappe. Parkplätze sind ausreichend in der Nähe vorhanden. Die Lage befindet sich in einem angenehmen Viertel und ist perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Mit der S-Bahn sind es nur wenige Minuten bis zum Markt in der Innenstadt. Die geschmackvolle und praktische Ausstattung des Apartments lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

  Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, geräumiges, sehr ruhig gelegenes Ein-Zimmer-Apartment für einen perfekten, zentrumsnahen Aufenthalt.
  Man hat das Gefühl, man ist der erste Gast – so neu bzw. gepflegt ist alles.
  Überkomplette Ausstattung, von der induktiven Ladestation am Nachttischchen bis zu Essstäbchen in der Bestecklade….:-)
  Am Rande: die Vermieter hatten wir zwar persönlich nicht kennengelernt (unproblematischer Self-Check-in), aber es darf nicht unerwähnt bleiben,
  dass sie telefonisch bei einem von uns selbstverschuldeten Problem (wir hatten auf die grüne Plakette für die Umweltzone vergessen) außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit und unterstützend waren.
  Alles in allem – sehr zu empfehlen!

  Insanely good value for the price. The apartment was huge and super comfortable, including heated flooring in the bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again if I come back to Leipzig!

  What could be improved: The apartment is a bit noisy. It is located near an hospital with even the eventual helicopter landing really near. Additionally, the bathroom fan and especially the fridge are very noisy.
