I mean, when you’re walking down the street looking for number 56, you might second-guess yourself because it doesn’t scream “hotel,” but that’s honestly part of its charm.

The loft setup is legit – these aren’t just regular hotel rooms with a kitchenette shoved in the corner. You’ve got actual space to spread out, and the Aqua theme runs through the design in this subtle way that doesn’t feel gimmicky. The bathroom situation is particularly nice (I’m talking rainfall shower that actually has good pressure), and there’s something satisfying about having a proper fridge and cooking space when you’re staying more than a night or two. The whole vibe feels like crashing at a friend’s place, if your friend happened to have really good taste in furniture and lived in a thoughtfully renovated German building.

Location-wise, you’re in Süd, which honestly took me a while to appreciate – it’s not right in the tourist center, but that ends up being a good thing. You’re actually living in Leipzig rather than just visiting it, you know? There’s a solid Turkish place about two blocks down that locals hit up for late dinner, and the tram connections are better than you’d expect for feeling this residential. Walking to the city center takes maybe 15-20 minutes if you don’t mind the stroll, or you can hop on the tram and be in Augustusplatz in no time. Parking isn’t the nightmare it could be – I managed to find street spots without too much circling, though I’d probably ask them about options if I were staying during a busy period.

What really sells this place, though, is that it feels like someone actually thought about how people travel now. The Wi-Fi works everywhere (tested it), there’s enough outlets near the bed and desk area, and the kitchen setup means you can grab groceries from the Rewe down the street instead of eating every meal out. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward hovering-around-the-desk thing while they upsell you on breakfast packages. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you stay here; it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just… works. And honestly, in a city like Leipzig where you want to be out exploring the music scene or wandering through those gorgeous passages in the center, having a place that feels like a proper home base rather than just a bed makes all the difference.

  Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Absprachen zu Aufenthalt und Schlüsselübergabe. Es hat alles perfekt geklappt. Die Lage des Apartments ist sehr gut – nah an Geschäften, Restaurants und LVB aber dennoch ruhig gelegen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

  Le bâtiment est sympa, la cour, très jolie et le studio bien équipé et très confortable. Excellent lit.

  Sehr sauberes und geschmackvolles Loft in einer sehr zentralen Lage, in der wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sowie Fahrradverleih 100 m entfernt. Kalte Getränke waren sogar vorhanden. Auch die Grundausstattung in Küche und Bad war super. Sehr netter Vermieter, mit vielen wertvollen Tipps.

  Sehr schönes Appartment, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Alles da, was man braucht, und noch mehr. Wir wurden von Marco sehr freundlich empfangen und er half uns sofort ein Taxi zum Stadion zu bekommen und gab uns Tipps, wie wir wieder gut nach Hause kommen. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

  Es hat uns alles gefallen! Wir waren bereits im Hof der location, während ich noch nach meiner Lesebrille suchte, kam bereits Marco mit dem Schlüssel auf uns zu. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, das Appartment ist genauso, wie auf der Buchungsseite beschrieben. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und erstaunlich ruhig. Wir haben uns ganz und gar wohl gefühlt. Leider waren wir nur 2 Nächte dort 😉
  Positiv war auch, dass eine Kaffeemaschine mit Pads und Tee und kühle Getränke im Kühlschrank zur Verfügung standen.
