LIVING Apartments Leipzig Overview

First Impressions

Walking into LIVING Apartments Leipzig feels like discovering a well-kept secret in the Eutritzsch neighborhood. This four-star property sits tucked away in a Hinterhaus — basically a charming back building that’s quintessentially German — which means you get all the peace and quiet without sacrificing access to the city. The moment you step inside, you realize this isn’t your typical hotel setup; it’s more like staying in a friend’s really nice place, if your friend happened to have excellent taste in modern furnishings.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Eutritzsch is one of those Leipzig districts that locals love but tourists often overlook, which honestly works in your favor. You’re close enough to the city center that a quick tram ride gets you to the Marktplatz, but far enough out that you can actually find parking without wanting to tear your hair out. The tree-lined streets here have this lived-in feel — you know, real people doing real things, not just tourist traps. I mean, there’s something refreshing about grabbing your morning coffee from a neighborhood café where the barista actually remembers your order.

The Apartment Experience

Each apartment here feels thoughtfully designed rather than cookie-cutter corporate. The kitchen isn’t just for show — it’s actually equipped well enough that you could cook a proper meal if you wanted to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The living spaces have this clean, Scandinavian-inspired vibe that somehow manages to feel both modern and cozy. What really got me was the attention to little details — decent lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and windows that open properly for fresh air.

Why Couples Keep Coming Back

There’s a reason couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways — it’s got that intimate, residential feel that makes you want to slow down and actually spend time together. The room layouts give you space to spread out without feeling like you’re camping in a hotel box. Plus, having your own little kitchen means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and have breakfast in your pajamas if that’s your thing. The neighborhood’s quiet streets are perfect for evening walks, and honestly, there’s something pretty romantic about feeling like temporary locals rather than obvious tourists.

Why Guests Love It

People keep raving about this place because it strikes that perfect balance between independence and service. You get the privacy and space of having your own place, but with the reliability and cleanliness standards you expect from a quality hotel. The location consistently gets top marks because it’s genuinely useful — close to public transport, walkable to local amenities, but peaceful enough that you’ll actually sleep well. And let’s be real, in a city like Leipzig where parking can be a nightmare, having private spots available on-site is worth its weight in gold.

Reviews of LIVING Apartments Leipzig

  • Schöner Aufenthalt, für 6 Personen perfekt – Leonie from Germany – 22 June 2025 (7/10)

What could be improved: Die aufbettung für die 7. Person (Schlafcouch) ist leider sehr unbequem, könnte evtl. Ausgetauscht werden😬.
Die anderen Betten waren super bequem.

  • Alles ok – Torsten from Germany – 13 October 2024 (8/10)

Sehr schöne Unterkunft! War so ziemlich alles Vorort.

What could be improved: Besteck war nur zu wenig gewesen.

  • Prachtig verblijf in een hele mooie stad – Mieke from Netherlands – 28 July 2024 (8/10)

  • kleine probleme wurden flexibel gehandhabt – Martin from Germany – 26 July 2024 (9/10)

    trotz sommerhitze gutes klima, ruhig

  • Superb – Danny from Germany – 28 April 2024 (9/10)

  • I advise against traveling with families, I recommend it for drunk parties – Maciej from Poland – 30 August 2023 (1/10)

What could be improved: There are 4 apartments that share a covered patio. 2 were occupied by a dozen drunk men. That night was a nightmare. The next day I was going on a long car journey.

  • Superb – Maurizio from Italy – 9 August 2023 (9/10)

The check in was always possible also when I came in the middle of the night thanks to the key collection with code.
I also liked the parking in front of the appartment and Lidl in front of house.
Also the pictures in the appartment where intriguing.

What could be improved: Can't comment this. It have beena short stay and I couldn't notice anything.
The availability of a cot can be a good plus.

  • Very poor and dishonest customer service. – Norbert from Poland – 30 April 2023 (3/10)

What could be improved: The apartment was supposed to be a 3 bedroom apartment, but we have received a 2 bedroom apartment. The manager of the place instead of apologizing for their mistake and looking for a solution, showed only his impatiance and was trying to make fools out of us. Very unprofessional and unfair service. The location is also very close to a frequently used railway line and it is not possible to have a good sleep when the windows are open.

  • Superb – Ezzo from United Kingdom – 31 December 2022 (9/10)

it was cosy comfortable bed and clean flat , good location Lidl next to the flat and 3 min walk for the train station

What could be improved: the only thing I don't like it's no mop in the flat
it was hard to clean the floor otherwise everything was comfey
