Leon Suite Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Leon Suite Apartments on Eutritzscher Straße, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical hotel setup. It’s more like stepping into a well-appointed residential building in one of Leipzig’s most sought-after neighborhoods — which, honestly, is exactly what it is. The four-star property sits right in the heart of Mitte, and I mean that literally. You’re basically in the sweet spot where everything Leipzig has to offer feels within arm’s reach.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about staying in Mitte — you’ve hit the jackpot without even trying. Leon Suite Apartments landed in what locals consider the top-rated area in Leipzig, and after spending time here, I totally get why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways. The cobblestone streets around Eutritzscher Straße have this lived-in charm that tourist areas often lack. You can actually walk to the historic city center in about ten minutes, but you’re also close enough to the trendy Plagwitz district that you get the best of both worlds. The location score of 8.6 isn’t just numbers on a screen — it reflects how easy it is to explore Leipzig’s café culture, galleries, and that incredible music scene the city’s famous for.
The Apartment Experience
What sets Leon Suite Apartments apart is the space you get. These aren’t cramped hotel rooms where you’re tripping over your suitcase — they’re actual apartments with separate living areas and proper kitchens. I found myself making coffee in the morning and planning my day from the comfort of a real living room, which honestly made the whole Leipzig experience feel more authentic. The furnishings strike that perfect balance between modern comfort and understated style. Nothing feels overdone or trying too hard, just clean lines and thoughtful touches that make you want to settle in for more than just a night or two.
Practical Comforts
The kitchen situation is actually a game-changer if you’re staying for several days. You can hit up the local markets — there’s a great one just a few blocks away — and prepare your own meals when you want a break from restaurant hopping. The Wi-Fi works reliably (always a concern when you’re trying to stay connected), and the apartments stay surprisingly quiet despite being in such a central location. I mean, you’ll hear some street life during the day, but it’s the good kind of urban energy, not disruptive noise that keeps you up at night.
Why Guests Love It
Leon Suite Apartments works because it gives you the independence of having your own place while keeping you right in the thick of everything Leipzig offers. Couples especially seem to appreciate the extra space and privacy — there’s something romantic about having your own little Leipzig pied-à-terre rather than just another hotel room. The combination of that prime Mitte location, the apartment-style setup, and the refined but unpretentious atmosphere creates this perfect storm of comfort and convenience. You’re not just visiting Leipzig; you’re living in it, even if it’s just for a few days.

Reviews of Leon Suite Apartments
Exceptional – Yaroslav from Germany – 28 June 2025 (10/10)
Super Wohnung, alles was man braucht war da.
What could be improved: Zu teuerSuperb – Carol from United Kingdom – 11 December 2024 (9/10)
Lovely apartment very close to town centre. Lift was a fantastic addition..
What could be improved: Heating, was not very controllable it was constantly very warm. Instructions for reducing temperature would have been great. Balcony door did not lock and though usable was faulty.Excellent – Vanessa from United Kingdom – 1 December 2024 (10/10)
Excellent apartment. Lovely and clean. Everything you needed. 10 mins walk to the town
What could be improved: The lift was very small. Pillows were uncomfortable for me. Very very softMy stay was fun and we had fun, we felt at home 🥰 – Osazuwa from Germany – 28 October 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was really nice and comfortable I felt like I was home, my group and I didn’t lack anything.
What could be improved: Properties was nice ❤️Very nice modern flat. Leipzig is an interesting city for a short stage with good transport links to nearby places of i – Karen from United Kingdom – 15 September 2024 (7/10)
Very clean and bright with comfortable furnishings and well designed rooms. 2 good size double bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen.
What could be improved: Whilst being close to the railway station and only a 15/20 minute walk from the central square is good, the area from the station isn’t great to walk through, especially at night. The tram is a good option to avoid this.
We were there in a heat wave and a few fans would have helped – there was only 1 fan provided for the whole flat.Very good – Lisa from Australia – 17 July 2024 (8/10)
It was very close to the train station and city centre. Apartment was very clean and spacious.
What could be improved: There was no washing machine which was meant to be included. traffic noise was quite loud as the bedroom windows faced a busy street.Spacious apartment in a very good location – Zvonimira from Croatia – 27 June 2024 (8/10)
Very spacious, confortable and clean apartment. Great location. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We loved the balcony with garden view. Simple style apartment, but clean and tidy.
What could be improved: There is no air conditioning. I couldn’t believe there are city apartments that don’t have air conditioning in 21st century. The bedroom windows had to be closed due to the street noise, so air conditioning (at least in the living room) is a real necessity.A great place to stay when visiting Leipzig and the superb Christmas markets. – Michael from Ireland – 1 January 2024 (10/10)
The location of the apartment is great only 5 minutes walk from the main train station and the edge of the town centre.
Tram stops close by to get around Leipzig.
The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, really suitable for a family or larger group.
Wifi is available and good.
Communications good with host although did not see them. Remote Key pick up instructions clear and worked well.
What could be improved: A better description or visual of the entrance route to the property, via large double doors that lead to car parking and rear entrance to the apartment block. Also and more importantly the location of the door open button when going out from the apartment. Took us a few minutes to locate it.Very spacious, well located apartment. – Deirdre from Ireland – 27 March 2023 (9/10)
Spacious apartment, matching photos. Convenient location to train station n walking distance (15 mins or so) to many cultural attractions. Responsive staff when issue with missing plug for sink.
What could be improved: No microwave, no washing machine, no Nespresso machine.Great Appartement! – Ying-ying from Germany – 25 November 2022 (10/10)
Good location, spacious, clean and well-equipped apartment! The host is also very nice, helping me out.:)
What could be improved: If there are more options of tea, it would be even better!:)
