Leon Suite Apartments Overview
You know what surprised me most about Leon Suite Apartments? It’s actually in one of those neighborhoods that feels completely local until you realize you’re somehow still walking distance to everything that matters in Leipzig. Eutritzscher Straße sits in this sweet spot where you’ll hear more German than tourist chatter on the street, but the tram still gets you to the Markt in about ten minutes. I mean, the building itself is pretty typical Leipzig architecture – that solid, unpretentious style that grows on you – but once you’re inside, it’s clear someone put real thought into making these spaces work for people who aren’t just passing through for a night.
The suites themselves feel more like temporary apartments than hotel rooms, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re staying more than a couple days. Each one has a proper kitchen setup – not just a mini-fridge and coffee maker situation, but actual counter space and cookware that doesn’t look like it came from a gas station. The living areas are spacious enough that you’re not constantly bumping into your suitcase, and the bedrooms actually have decent blackout curtains (trust me, this matters more than you think when you’re dealing with those bright summer mornings). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re right in the city. Maybe it’s the way the building’s positioned, or just good windows, but you’re not getting woken up by delivery trucks at 6 AM like some places I’ve stayed around Mitte.
The whole operation runs pretty smoothly too – check-in was straightforward, and the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood when I asked about where to grab groceries or find a decent bakery in the morning. They pointed me toward this little spot on Delitzscher Straße that locals clearly frequent, which is exactly the kind of intel you want. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (aren’t most city centers?), but there are options within a block or two if you’re willing to walk a little. The 8.5 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be flashy or revolutionary, just really solid at what it does. If you’re looking for a place that feels less like a hotel stay and more like borrowing a friend’s well-appointed apartment in a part of Leipzig that still feels authentically German, this hits the mark pretty well.

Reviews of Leon Suite Apartments
Exceptional – Yaroslav from Germany – 28 June 2025 (10/10)
Super Wohnung, alles was man braucht war da.
What could be improved: Zu teuerSuperb – Carol from United Kingdom – 11 December 2024 (9/10)
Lovely apartment very close to town centre. Lift was a fantastic addition..
What could be improved: Heating, was not very controllable it was constantly very warm. Instructions for reducing temperature would have been great. Balcony door did not lock and though usable was faulty.Excellent – Vanessa from United Kingdom – 1 December 2024 (10/10)
Excellent apartment. Lovely and clean. Everything you needed. 10 mins walk to the town
What could be improved: The lift was very small. Pillows were uncomfortable for me. Very very softMy stay was fun and we had fun, we felt at home 🥰 – Osazuwa from Germany – 28 October 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was really nice and comfortable I felt like I was home, my group and I didn’t lack anything.
What could be improved: Properties was nice ❤️Very nice modern flat. Leipzig is an interesting city for a short stage with good transport links to nearby places of i – Karen from United Kingdom – 15 September 2024 (7/10)
Very clean and bright with comfortable furnishings and well designed rooms. 2 good size double bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen.
What could be improved: Whilst being close to the railway station and only a 15/20 minute walk from the central square is good, the area from the station isn’t great to walk through, especially at night. The tram is a good option to avoid this.
We were there in a heat wave and a few fans would have helped – there was only 1 fan provided for the whole flat.Very good – Lisa from Australia – 17 July 2024 (8/10)
It was very close to the train station and city centre. Apartment was very clean and spacious.
What could be improved: There was no washing machine which was meant to be included. traffic noise was quite loud as the bedroom windows faced a busy street.Spacious apartment in a very good location – Zvonimira from Croatia – 27 June 2024 (8/10)
Very spacious, confortable and clean apartment. Great location. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We loved the balcony with garden view. Simple style apartment, but clean and tidy.
What could be improved: There is no air conditioning. I couldn’t believe there are city apartments that don’t have air conditioning in 21st century. The bedroom windows had to be closed due to the street noise, so air conditioning (at least in the living room) is a real necessity.A great place to stay when visiting Leipzig and the superb Christmas markets. – Michael from Ireland – 1 January 2024 (10/10)
The location of the apartment is great only 5 minutes walk from the main train station and the edge of the town centre.
Tram stops close by to get around Leipzig.
The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, really suitable for a family or larger group.
Wifi is available and good.
Communications good with host although did not see them. Remote Key pick up instructions clear and worked well.
What could be improved: A better description or visual of the entrance route to the property, via large double doors that lead to car parking and rear entrance to the apartment block. Also and more importantly the location of the door open button when going out from the apartment. Took us a few minutes to locate it.Very spacious, well located apartment. – Deirdre from Ireland – 27 March 2023 (9/10)
Spacious apartment, matching photos. Convenient location to train station n walking distance (15 mins or so) to many cultural attractions. Responsive staff when issue with missing plug for sink.
What could be improved: No microwave, no washing machine, no Nespresso machine.Great Appartement! – Ying-ying from Germany – 25 November 2022 (10/10)
Good location, spacious, clean and well-equipped apartment! The host is also very nice, helping me out.:)
What could be improved: If there are more options of tea, it would be even better!:)
