You know what really got me about this place? Walking up Peterssteinweg for the first time, I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment rental – honestly, the name alone made me think it might be one of those overly corporate setups. But LE Vacation City-Apartment actually feels like staying in someone’s genuinely nice Leipzig flat, just without the awkward host hovering around.

The location is pretty brilliant if you know Leipzig at all. Peterssteinweg puts you right in Mitte, which means you’re basically a ten-minute walk from the Marktplatz and all those gorgeous old merchant houses, but you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your window. I mean, you can still hear some street noise – it’s a city center after all – but nothing that kept me up at night. The parking situation is honestly a godsend here because anyone who’s tried to park in central Leipzig knows it’s usually a nightmare. Having your own spot included? That alone probably saves you 15 euros a day and a lot of stress.

What really won me over though was how they’ve set everything up inside. The kitchen actually works – I’m talking full-sized appliances, decent knives, enough counter space to make a proper meal without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your ingredients. Too many vacation rentals give you this sad little kitchenette that’s barely functional, but here you could honestly cook for a week without missing your own place. The Netflix setup was seamless too, which sounds small but when you’re settling in after walking around the Gewandhaus area all day, being able to just collapse and watch something familiar hits different. They’ve got the TV situation figured out with local channels as well, so you’re not stuck guessing what’s on.

The whole apartment has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – good lighting, decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes, and they’ve clearly thought about the little things. Like, there are actual hangers in the closet, not just two bent wire ones. The bathroom has proper water pressure. The bed doesn’t feel like sleeping on a rock. These sound basic, but you’d be surprised how many places mess up the fundamentals.

Being in Mitte means you’re walking distance from basically everything worth seeing – the Bach Archive, the old university area, all those little cafes tucked into the side streets near Thomaskirche. If you’re planning day trips, the Hauptbahnhof is close enough that you don’t need to plan your morning around getting there, but far enough that you’re not hearing train announcements at 6 AM.

Honestly, with a 9.4 rating, I was expecting maybe some overselling, but this place delivers on what it promises. It’s not trying to be fancy – it’s trying to be genuinely comfortable and functional, and that’s exactly what you want when you’re using Leipzig as your base to explore Saxony or just soaking up the city itself.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Leipzig at least two months ahead for major events like the Bach Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near cultural attractions.

  Die Unterkunft ist ideal gelegen mit guter Anbindung an die Straßenbahn und direkter Nähe zum Clara Zetkin Park. Alles ist fußläufig super zu bewältigen.
  Natürlich auch die diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten.
  Die Vermieter sind immer erreichbar und sehr zuvorkommend.
  Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

  Eine sehr schöne, große und kompfortabel eingerichtete Wohnung. Sehr zentrale Lage direkt im Zentrim. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im direkten Umfeld. Fahrstuhl im Hause, also gut auch für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität. Chek in und chek out völlig problemlos und sehr gut beschrieben. Ein kostenloser und sicherer Parkplatz in der zentralen Lage ist ein zusätzliches "Geschenk". Ein wunderschöner Platz zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen. Vielen lieben Dank für diese erlebte Gastfreundlichkeit auch ohne direkten Kontakt zu den Gastgebern.

  The apartment is very well located, a 10 minute stroll from the historical Markt, next to a tram stop. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (Auszeit is recommended for breakfast). The rooms are decorated with gusto, especially the bathroom and kitchen, all in black and white. All the amenities are there, except maybe for a washing mashine. There is a lot of space in the apartment, and the internet is very very fast.
  
  What could be improved: It is difficult to find a parking spot around the place, but well – it is located in the centre. There is an awful smell in the corridors outside the apartment and in the elevator – it seems to be coming from the Vietnamese restaurant's kitchen downstairs.
