It’s actually tucked away on this quiet residential street – Waldstraße – that most tourists completely miss, but it’s honestly one of those perfect Leipzig locations where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. I mean, you’re still in Mitte, so everything’s walkable, but you’re not dealing with the chaos of the main tourist drags.

The place itself is pretty straightforward – think modern apartment-style setup rather than traditional hotel vibes. The owner clearly gets what travelers actually need (decent wifi, proper coffee setup, space to spread out your stuff) without all the fancy nonsense that just drives up prices. What really sold me was how quiet it gets at night – you’re on a tree-lined street with mostly locals, so once evening hits, it’s genuinely peaceful. That said, if you’re someone who needs 24/7 front desk service, this might not be your thing since it operates more like a well-run apartment rental.

Here’s the thing about the location that I didn’t fully appreciate until I’d been there a few days – you can walk to the Hauptbahnhof in maybe fifteen minutes, but you’re also close enough to wander through Clara-Zetkin-Park when you need a break from all the sightseeing. There’s this little bakery just around the corner on Gottschedstraße that locals actually use (always a good sign), and honestly, being able to grab proper German bread for breakfast instead of hotel pastries was such a small luxury. The 8.8 rating makes complete sense once you realize it’s delivering exactly what it promises – clean, comfortable, well-located accommodation without any pretense. It’s not trying to be a boutique experience or a luxury stay, it’s just… really solid. The kind of place where you sleep well, the shower has decent pressure, and you’re not constantly fighting with key cards or complicated room controls. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want, especially in a city like Leipzig where you’ll probably spend most of your time exploring anyway.

  Hat alles prima geklappt! Danke! Kommunikation super und die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen und gut ausgestattet. Im Umkreis ist Anwohnerparken, daher nicht ganz ideal wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, aber es gibt ein Parkhaus und auch öffentliche Parkplätze etwas entfernt.

  Super Lage. Alles sauber und alles da was man braucht. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Vielleicht klappt es mal wieder.
  
  What could be improved: Einen nahegelegenen Parkplatz zu finden war nicht möglich, zumal im Stadion gespielt wurde und möglicherweise deshalb im Parkhaus kein Platz zu reservieren war. Aber das ist kein Vorwurf an die Vermieter.

  Eine sehr gemütliche kleine Wohnung. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet gewesen was wir brauchten. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und auch eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Apotheke gibt es fast gleich nebenan. Die Tram fährt gleich vor der Tür quasi. Der Zoo ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Und der Park ist auch gleich nebenan und lädt zu schönen Spaziergängen ein.

  Wszystko co potrzebne w apartamencie było na miejscu. Blisko do centrum, zoo i stadion RB Lipsk. Obok sklep, restauracje.
  
  What could be improved: Jedyny minus to parkowanie auta. Najbliższy parking w przystępnej cenie przy Zoo 12 euro za 24 h. Darmowy przy Friedrich Ebert-Strasse wzdłuż ulicy. Do obydwu ok 15 minut na pieszo.

  Very good location near Leipzig center, quiet, cozy, private, spacious enough, fully equipped apartment.
  
  What could be improved: Maybe a little noise from the street and some sound from neighbours playing music at weekends, but it is minor and overall sound insulation is pretty good. Everything was really O.K.

  Great location, loads of space and good kitchen and facilities. Really nice and comfortable apartment. Only dealt with host via message but they were responsive and friendly. Would happily stay here again.
