The WiFi is genuinely good (I work remotely, so I’m picky about this), and yes, Netflix works perfectly – though you might find yourself watching German shows and actually enjoying them.

What really surprised me was how well-equipped everything is. I mean, whoever set this place up clearly thinks like a traveler. The kitchen has actual sharp knives and a coffee maker that doesn’t produce brown water. There’s a washing machine tucked away, which saved me from hunting down a laundromat in an unfamiliar neighborhood. The bed is properly comfortable – not that rock-hard European standard you sometimes get – and there’s enough storage space that you won’t be living out of your suitcase. Getting there is straightforward once you figure out Leipzig’s tram system; the nearby stops connect you to the center in about fifteen minutes, or you can walk to Gohliser Schlösschen if you’re feeling ambitious. Parking isn’t terrible if you’re driving, though like most German cities, it requires some patience and parallel parking skills. The 9.2 rating makes complete sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and priced fairly for what you get. Perfect for anyone who wants to experience Leipzig like a temporary local rather than just another tourist passing through.

  Sehr sauber, frisch und schön möbliert. Gute Lage in einer Seitenstraße von Gohlis mit sehr guter ÖPNV- Anbindung. Küche voll ausgestattet, auch im Bad alles vorhanden. Gute Kommunikation – einfacher Check-in.
