I stayed during a weekend when there was some sort of festival happening downtown, and while you could hear a bit of the distant music, it wasn’t the kind of noise that keeps you up – just enough to remind you that you’re in the heart of things.

What I really appreciated was how lived-in everything felt without being worn down, if that makes sense.
