I mean, it’s not a dramatic Manhattan-style view, but there’s something genuinely lovely about watching the city wake up from your window while sipping terrible hotel coffee that somehow tastes better because of the setting. The S-Bahn connection is actually solid too – about a 12-minute ride to Hauptbahnhof, and the station’s maybe a 7-minute walk through streets that feel authentically German rather than touristy.

What really got me was the attention to small details that someone clearly thought through. The rooms have these thick curtains that actually block light (revolutionary concept, right?), and the beds are firm without being punishing. There’s free parking right outside, which saved me probably €20 a day compared to city center hotels. The breakfast isn’t fancy – think fresh rolls, local cheeses, decent coffee – but it’s substantial and the dining room has this old-school German pension vibe that grows on you. The staff speaks excellent English, though they seem genuinely pleased when you attempt even basic German.   What could be improved: El apartamento es un cuarto sin ascensor, cosa que no se menciona en ningún sitio. Como persona con movilidad reducida que viajaba por una consulta médica, fue una tortura. Apenas pude salir del apartamento por miedo a no poder volver a subir. Además el check-in fue complicado, ya que no nos dijeron el piso ni la puerta (de nuevo reitero que no se avisó que era un cuarto) y tuvimos que estar llamando para conseguir información. Además la casa apestaba a tabaco, sobretodo el baño y el sofá.

  Wir waren übers Wochenende einen Kollege besuchen. Die Wohnung ist sehr günstig und die Kommunikation mit Kirstin war reibungslos. Sie ist schlicht eingerichtet, aber bietet alles nötige für einen kurzen Aufenthalt inkl. eines gemütlichen Balkons. Mit dem Fahrrrad oder ÖV ist mal schnell an allen interessanten Orten der Stadt, ein REWE befindet sich nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Eine Ideale Wohnung für einen kurzen Stadtaufenthalt mit Freunden oder einer kleinen Familie.
  
  What could be improved: Es hatte keinen Duschvorhang, weswegen wir immer den Boden im Badezimmer aufnehmen mussten nach dem Duschen.
