You’re in the Nord district, which – okay, it’s not right in Leipzig’s old town with all the tourist stuff – but that’s actually perfect if you want to experience how locals live. Coppistraße is this quiet residential street where you can park without losing your mind (honestly, try finding parking near the Marktplatz and you’ll appreciate this). The tram connections are solid though, so you’re maybe fifteen minutes from the city center when you want to hit up the Gewandhaus or grab dinner at one of those cellar restaurants everyone raves about. I mean, the whole area has this lived-in feel that’s refreshing after staying in sterile hotel districts in other cities.

What surprised me most was how thoughtfully put together everything is inside. You know how some apartment rentals feel like someone just threw random furniture together? Not here. The kitchen actually has proper knives and decent pans – I made breakfast a few mornings and didn’t want to throw anything out the window in frustration. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this stuff after too many nights on saggy mattresses), and there’s enough space that you’re not constantly bumping into your travel companion. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that actually works properly, which honestly makes such a difference after walking around Leipzig all day. Small thing, but the windows are well-insulated – I was there during a particularly windy week in November and barely heard any street noise. The heating system works without being loud about it, and the WiFi is fast enough that I could work from there without wanting to scream. You can tell someone actually cares about maintaining this place rather than just collecting booking fees and hoping for the best. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying in for breakfast instead of rushing out immediately, maybe planning your day over proper coffee while looking out at the neighborhood starting to wake up.

  Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt, um den Zahlencode einzugeben musste ich meine Taschenlampe vom Handy benutzen, das hat aber so gespiegelt, dass ich mehrere Male versucht habe, bis es funktioniert hat. Es ist eine super tolle Wohnung, sehr sauber, sehr schön eingerichtet, sogar mit echten Pflanzen.

  Alles war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Wohnung wurde vorgeheizt, so war es angenehm warm. Das Haus war ruhig und ein schöner Altbau. Park für den Spaziergang mit Hund war um die Ecke. Für ein Wochenende völlig Ausreichende Ausstattung. Supermarkt und Frühstückscafé waren direkt fussläufig zu erreichen. Gute Anbindung mit Bus oder Tram ins Zentrum.

  The apartment looks great and it is very very clean. You find everything you need and feel inmediately like at home. The hosts were very nice and helpful, we had a little inconvenience with the keys at the arrival but they responded quickly and efficiently. The location is great, very quiet and city center easily reachable with tram.

  The apartment is equipped with anything you need and extra! The location is ideal to visit the city center as it is conveniently connected to it by public transport. We immediately felt at home.
