The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in typical hotel accommodation. Sure, it’s not fancy – we’re talking 3-star vibes, not luxury – but everything works, it’s clean, and the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I’ve stayed.

What really sold me on this spot was how quiet it gets at night. Anger-Crottendorf isn’t exactly a party district, so you can actually sleep with the windows open in summer without hearing drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM. The rating of 8.4 makes sense to me because while it won’t blow your mind, it delivers on the basics really well. Parking’s not terrible if you have a car, though honestly, you don’t need one – the tram connections are solid. The only minor gripe I had was that check-in felt a bit impersonal (it’s more of a self-service situation), but that also meant I could come and go whenever without dealing with reception desk awkwardness. If you’re the type who wants to explore Leipzig like someone who lives there rather than just hitting the tourist spots, this little apartment gives you that authentic base without breaking the bank. Plus, you’re close enough to Reudnitz-Thonberg that you can walk to some genuinely good local restaurants that most guidebooks completely ignore.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Leipzig at least two months ahead for major events like the Bach Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near cultural attractions.

  Schlüsselübergabe hat reibungslos geklappt.
  
  What could be improved: Dreckiges Treppenhaus, auf unserer Etage gab es kein Licht im Flur, ständig war die Eingangstür offen, schlechte Abstellmöglichkeiten für Räder – ein abschließbarer Raum im Keller wäre gut.
  Der Zugang zum Bett war sehr eng (Fensterseite und Rückseite vom Bett) und es fehlten Nachttische im Schlafzimmer.
  Zur Küche können wir nicht viel sagen, da wir die Einrichtung gar nicht genutzt haben.
  Die Parksituation vor dem Haus war gut, allerdings wurden unsere Ebikes gleich in der ersten Nacht von unserem abgeschlossenen Fahrrädträger gestohlen.
  Wir mussten unser komplettes Programm umstellen und haben nun schlechte Erinnerungen an diesen Besuch von Leipzig.

  Die Wohnung ist nicht weit weg (5min. ) zur S-Bahn und Bus. Trotz Großstadt ist es recht ruhig.

  Roomy and has a small deck for those that need a smoke outside. They also provided “baby stuff” like high chair, play and pack.
  
  What could be improved: We had to pay cash as soon as we arrived. This was new to us, and we wondered what if you did not have enough money on hand? The shower is awkward.
  It was out of the main centre. Very few amenities were in the area eg. restaurants.
