The building itself has that solid German architecture feel—thick walls, high ceilings, the kind of place that’s probably been standing since before your great-grandparents were born. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re so central. The fourth floor elevation helps with that, I think.

Here’s the thing about staying here—it actually feels like living in Leipzig for a few days rather than just visiting. The apartment setup means you can grab groceries from the markets around Nikolaikirche (seriously, the Saturday market there is incredible) and actually cook something instead of eating out every meal. The kitchen is well-equipped too, not just some sad mini-fridge and microwave situation. And honestly, after spending your days wandering around the Gewandhaus area or getting lost in the Karl-Heine-Kanal district, it’s nice to come back somewhere that feels like a real home base. The whole place has this understated elegance that matches Leipzig’s vibe perfectly—sophisticated but not stuffy, historical but not stuck in the past.   location was in central Leipzig, close to supermarkets, restaurants and concert hall venues. There was an S-Bahn station 5 minutes from the place.

  What could be improved: It is not a 2-bedroom. The second bed is a Murphy bed in the living room. No privacy for this person. When I reached out to the manager, I was given a run-around and then she stopped responding. Manager even admits that they had to work-around bookings system because they don’t allow bedrooms without a dedicated room to be called a bedroom. (Picture attached)

  Excellent apartment in the center of Leipzig. The apartment was very spacious, actually rooms were bigger than I was expecting, clean and very convenient. It is located in an old city building, with nice big windows, high old style ceiling and amazing modern decoration of high taste and esthetic, with good quality furniture and attention to every little detail. Very well equipped too, it has pretty much anything you may need for a few days stay in the city. Location couldn't be better, right in the city center, next to the main shopping district and at walking distance from the most sightseeing, good restaurants and coffee places. There is an indoor underground parking almost across the street at rates of 20€ per 24 hours, which I find it very reasonable considering the location. There is also a supermarket at the same spot for all your needs. With such a convenient location, we didn't have to use our car at all during our entire stay. As a bonus, right below the apartment on the ground floor there is a nice Varieté Theater that offers some amazing performances and does really worth it to pay a visit in one of the evenings during your stay. As a family of 4 we very much enjoyed it. Overall we are very impressed with the apartment that made our wonderful holidays in Leipzig even better. In simple words we couldn't ask for more.

  What could be improved: The second bed is a pulldown bed in the living room so no privacy. To get from the bedroom to the bathroom you need to walk through the living room and disturb the people who may be sleeping there.

  The apartment was comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchen (with a dishwasher) as well as a washer/dryer for laundry. Good location near Leipzig Zentrum.

  Peaceful haven in a central location away from main roads with easy access to shops ; easy to get provisions from excellent nearby supermarket ( Rewe) . Close to trams and buses and leisurely strolling distance to all that the city centre offers including the Opera and Gewandhaus . The apartment felt spacious , comfortable , airy and relaxing .
