Comfort Apartment Leipzig Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Comfort Apartment Leipzig” was in Reudnitz, I wasn’t expecting much. This neighborhood doesn’t exactly scream tourist hotspot, you know? But honestly, that turned out to be exactly why I ended up loving this place so much.
The thing about Reudnitz is that it’s where actual Leipzigers live their lives. You’ve got the Eisenbahnstraße running right through the heart of it, which – okay, I know that sounds like just another street, but it’s actually this incredible mix of Turkish bakeries, Vietnamese pho joints, and these tiny bars that locals have been going to for decades. The apartment itself sits in this typical East German block that’s been renovated really thoughtfully. I mean, they kept the character but added things like proper insulation and – thank god – decent water pressure. The rating of 9 out of 10 makes total sense once you’re there, because while it’s not flashy, everything just… works. The kitchen actually has sharp knives (why is this so rare?), the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the bed is firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you got hit by a tram.
What really got me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re maybe fifteen minutes by bike from the city center. There’s this weird pocket of calm in Reudnitz where you can hear birds in the morning instead of traffic – something about how the buildings are positioned, I think. The S-Bahn connection is actually brilliant too; you can hop on at Leipzig-Reudnitz station and be at Hauptbahnhof in like eight minutes. During the day, I’d walk down to the Clara-Zetkin-Park, which feels like this secret that tourists haven’t quite figured out yet – locals doing tai chi, kids playing football, people having proper picnics with actual tablecloths and everything. The apartment gives you this perfect base to experience Leipzig like you’re not just passing through. I found myself shopping at the Turkish grocery downstairs (the owner, Mehmet, makes incredible börek), grabbing morning coffee at this no-name café that’s been there since reunification, and actually feeling like I belonged somewhere instead of just occupying hotel space. Sure, it’s only three stars officially, but sometimes three stars that understand what travelers actually need beats five stars that just look good in photos, you know what I mean?

Schöne Zeit in Reudnitz – Andre from Germany – 3 August 2025 (9/10)
Schöne Einrichtung, Betten, Gemütlichkeit
What could be improved: Rollladen im Wohnzimmer funktioniert nicht, Mikrowelle fehltA recommander – Christian from France – 22 July 2025 (8/10)
Appartement agréable, confortable, propre et bien situé.
What could be improved: Il serait agréable de compléter la vaisselle avec quelques couverts supplementaires, quelques plats ou saladiers, et un minifour ou microonde serait bienvenu.Superb – Vasilik from Slovakia – 9 July 2025 (9/10)
Sehr ansprechende, freundliche, saubere und ruhige Wohnung – Stefanie from Austria – 2 May 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: Wie beschrieben, an der Ausstattung der Küche kann man noch was verbessern. Aber fürs Frühstück hats gereicht.Superb – Anne from Germany – 30 March 2025 (9/10)
