City Apartment Leipzig Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to City Apartment Leipzig, you immediately get the sense that this four-star property takes itself seriously — but not in a stuffy way. The building sits right in Leipzig’s Mitte district, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. I mean, you’re basically in the heart of everything that matters in this city, which explains why couples consistently rate the spot a 9.5. The entrance has that clean, modern German efficiency you’d expect, without feeling cold or impersonal.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in Mitte — you can actually walk to most of Leipzig’s main attractions without breaking a sweat. The old town square is just a pleasant stroll away, and you know what? That matters when you’re trying to squeeze in sightseeing between meals. The area around Erich-Weinert-Straße has this nice mix of local cafes and practical shops, so you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble. Plus, the public transport connections are solid if you want to venture further out, though honestly, you probably won’t need to much.
The Apartment Experience
The rooms here are set up more like actual apartments than typical hotel rooms, which makes a huge difference if you’re staying more than a night or two. You get proper kitchen facilities — not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation — so you can grab groceries from the local markets and cook if you want to. The spaces feel genuinely livable rather than just functional, with enough room to spread out your stuff without everything looking like a disaster zone. The design leans modern and understated, which I actually prefer to overly themed hotel rooms that try too hard.
What Sets It Apart
The thing about City Apartment Leipzig is that it strikes this nice balance between hotel service and apartment independence. You’re not dealing with rigid check-in times or feeling like you need to tiptoe around, but you still get the reliability and cleanliness standards you’d expect from a well-run property. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you experience it — everything works as it should, the WiFi is dependable, and the overall vibe is refreshingly straightforward. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in quickly and focus on exploring Leipzig rather than figuring out your accommodation.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.1 location score isn’t just marketing fluff — it’s genuinely one of the best-positioned places to stay in Leipzig. Couples especially seem to appreciate having a proper base in the city center without paying premium prices for unnecessary frills. You’re close enough to walk to dinner, grab morning coffee, or catch evening entertainment, but the street itself is quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well. For travelers who want to experience Leipzig like a local rather than a tourist passing through, this setup just works.
Leipzig’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with kitchen facilities, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this historically significant German city.

Reviews of City Apartment Leipzig
Very good – Sara from New Zealand – 12 July 2025 (8/10)
Close to train station, short walk to town. Lovely clean apartment
Superb – Oleksandra from Ukraine – 21 April 2025 (9/10)
Great location, spacious flat with good equipment.
What could be improved: It was a bit tricky to get into the apartment. We couldn't check if the dishwasher was working because we couldn't find capsules for it. Some dishes were dirty or cracked. Also, there wasn't cleaning under the bed, it seems for a while.Exceptional – Boyin from China – 12 April 2025 (10/10)
Great apartment in a great location, close to the tram stop. Also, you can walk to the Leipzig Zoo. The room was larger than I expected, thoughtfully prepared with most of the necessities. The kitchen had a full set of cookware, as well as basic spices and oils, and I made two hearty dinners there.
Leipzig 5 stars – David from Germany – 15 November 2024 (10/10)
A beautiful experience. Excellent communication with the owner. He let me check in earlier. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, close to the main train station. Everything was perfect
Perfect and comfortable stay. – Raschig from United Kingdom – 18 October 2024 (9/10)
Very comfortable and very central location in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The kitchen was well equipped. Check in was easy and the place was spotlessly clean. It's a generous size, great for a
couple or family.

What could be improved: NothingI was sad to leave; could have stayed longer here and spent less time in Berlin. – Mark from New Zealand – 29 June 2023 (10/10)
The apartment was large, generously and tastefully furnished and had real character. It was not too far to walk to the station and all the sights.
What could be improved: As with many properties in Germany there is no lift so it may not suit some people, being on the second floor.Very comfortable. – Carola from France – 2 April 2023 (10/10)

It would have been nice to get access to the lock app at the moment of checking out.Exceptional – Dominickee from Spain – 28 February 2023 (10/10)
