It’s like having the best of both worlds — city access without the chaos.

You’re close enough to the zoo that you could actually walk there (hence the name), but more importantly, you’re in this pocket of the city where locals actually hang out. The nearby streets have these fantastic little spots that you’d never find if you were staying in some generic hotel district. I mean, there’s this incredible bakery just around the corner that becomes my morning ritual whenever I’m in town.

  It was in a good location, close to the main train station, centre and trams. Being tucked away from the main street it provided enough privacy and it was overall quiet. The accommodation had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning and it was overall very clean. 10/10 stay :))

  A place worth recommending with full confidence. A clean, fully equipped, very spacious apartment with a bathtub, shower, and all the equipment necessary for everyday use (even a dishwasher with tablets, towels and kitchen utensils). In addition, comfortable two beds, two flat-screen TVs with an audio system and even a Nintendo console, which allowed me to "go back in time" to the moments I remembered from my childhood. Location – perfect! Very close to the old town, the most beautiful ZOO I have ever seen and the beautiful Leipzig main railway station (Leipzig Hauptbanhof), the largest in Europe, which is really worth seeing. I recommend Apartament Fernando with full confidence!
