Here’s what nobody tells you about this spot: it’s actually perfect for exploring both Leipzig and Halle without dealing with city center parking nightmares. The S-Bahn connection from the airport gets you into Leipzig’s Hauptbahnhof in about fifteen minutes, and then you’re right in the middle of everything – the old market square, all those amazing little cafes around Barfußgässchen. The hotel staff seemed to genuinely know this stuff too, not just the usual tourist trap recommendations. They pointed me toward this fantastic little brewery in Leipzig’s Südvorstadt that I never would have found otherwise.

The breakfast situation deserves a mention – it’s one of those continental spreads, but they do it right with actual local touches. Fresh pretzels (obviously), some really good regional cheeses, and coffee that doesn’t taste like it was made yesterday. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re arriving super late since the front desk isn’t 24/7 – learned that one the hard way on a delayed flight from Munich.

You know what really sold me on this place though? The little details that show someone actually thinks about the traveler experience. Power outlets exactly where you need them, blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound silly – but hangers that aren’t attached to the closet rod. It’s those tiny frustrations that can make or break a stay when you’re already dealing with travel stress. With an 8.1 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and I get why. It’s not trying to be some luxury destination hotel, but for what it is – a solid, well-run airport hotel that doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping in a terminal – it absolutely delivers.

  2 minutes walk from the airport, Quiet, clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Local takeaway that quickly delivers a wide selection of food at bargainous prices that can be consumed in the bar or terrace.
  
  What could be improved: There is no food available in the evening with the exception of a brockwurst and bread. However, there is a local takeaway who deliver a wide selection of food; pizzas, burgers, kebabs etc at bargainous prices and it’s ok to consume them in the bar…..so maybe this should actually be a like.

  What could be improved: We had a nasty experience with one staff member: we were leaving the breakfast area and I was still at the table and my son runs to the elevator, I look and a person was pushing him by the head inside the elevator, although I was not there, I walked there and we all enter the elevator and I say to my son “we dont enter elevators with strangers” and suddenly I was interrupted by this man which had no ID on him, saying “you can’t take food from the breakfast” because we had 2 muffins which my toddler had already bitten

  Perfect place to sleep before an early flight. It was clean and comfortable, all we needed. A very short walk to the airport, but couldn't heard the planes, it was quiet.
