Here’s what I’d actually tell someone considering this place: it’s one of those rentals that doesn’t oversell itself and then disappoint you. The photos are pretty accurate, the space works like it should, and there aren’t any weird surprises (like a “kitchen” that’s just a hot plate, or a bathroom you have to share with mysterious neighbors). For Leipzig, especially if you want something that feels more like staying in someone’s well-designed apartment rather than a generic hotel room, it hits the right notes.   The location is absolutely marvelous, 5-8 min walk and you jump on bus 60 or tram 15 and it takes you to the center.
  There is a nice park aroung the corner with children playgrounds, basketball, beach voleyball grounds – it is nice. The park is a bit punkish in decoration, but it is a nice safe place. The flat has two stores, is equipped with inexpensive cooking plate, small fridge, toaster, boiler. TV + sofa are great!

  The apartment was clean and beautifully furnished. TV with Netflix was very good. The location was central and parking space was easily found on the street.
