Honestly, when I first walked up to Annenstraße 7, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the building looks pretty typical for this part of Volkmarsdorf, but man, was I in for a pleasant surprise. This two-room apartment sits in one of Leipzig’s up-and-coming neighborhoods, and I mean that in the best way possible. You’re not dealing with tourist crowds here, but you’re also not stuck in the middle of nowhere. The tram connections are actually solid (the 16 line is your friend), and you can get to the city center in maybe 15 minutes without breaking a sweat.

The apartment itself punches way above its three-star rating – I’m talking about that 9.5 score for a reason. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of… I don’t know, someone actually cares about this place? The kitchen’s got everything you’d need if you hit up the little Edeka down the street, and the living area feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile hotel-room vibes. What really got me was the attention to small stuff – decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out when you’re trying to video call home, windows that actually block out street noise (though honestly, Annenstraße is pretty quiet anyway), and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure is fantastic. You know how apartment rentals can be hit or miss with that kind of thing.

The Volkmarsdorf location is where this place really shines, though most people probably haven’t heard of the neighborhood yet. It’s got this authentic Leipzig feel that you miss if you stay right in the Altstadt. There’s a great little café called Westwerk just a few blocks over where locals actually hang out, and if you walk about ten minutes toward Eisenbahnstraße, you’ll hit some surprisingly good Vietnamese and Turkish spots that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. The area comes alive in the evenings – not party-loud, just people living their lives, which I found pretty charming. Parking was easier than I expected too, though I’d still recommend checking with the host about street parking rules because Leipzig can be picky about that stuff. Look, if you want sanitized tourist convenience, maybe look elsewhere, but if you want to experience how actual Leipzigers live while still having a comfortable base to explore from, this little apartment nails it perfectly.

  Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Apartment bei dem es an nichts mangelt.
  Sehr bequemes Bett und Couch. Wir haben alle gut geschlafen.
  Straßenbahnhaltestelle vor der Tür. In 15min direkt im Zentrum.

  Прекрасные новые , очень чистые апартаменты, все с огромным вкусом и продуманностью , есть все и даже больше для комфортного проживания -фен, стиральная машина со средствами для стирки, разнообразная посуда , приправы, кофе, чай, сахар, кофемашина, микроволновка, тостер….всего и не перечислить ! В общем самые лучшие впечатления и огромная благодарность хозяевам этих апартаментов. Спасибо большое за прекрасный отдых !

  Equipado perfectamente tanto la cocina como el baño, el apartamento estaba muy limpio y todo como nuevo. Todos los detalles están muy cuidados y ha sido un gusto alojarnos en este apartamento. No está ubicado en el centro pero no es problema porque con el tranvía que está en frente del edificio se llega muy rápido. Sin duda repetiríamos!

  Die Anreise hat reibungslos funktioniert. Die Wohnung war sehr modern, gemütlich und überall sauber – auch in der Küche, die zudem perfekt ausgestattet war. Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern da und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch die hervorragende Lage: Direkt vor der Tür hält die Straßenbahn, mit der man in nur 15 Minuten in der Innenstadt ist. Absolute Empfehlung!

  Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment war wirklich angenehm! Die Unterkunft war ausgezeichnet und gut gepflegt, sodass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben.
  
  Besonders gut hat uns die voll ausgestattete Küche gefallen, die alles bot, was wir zum Kochen brauchten. Die Dusche war großartig, und die Heizung funktionierte einwandfrei, sodass es stets angenehm warm war. Auch die Extras wie der Haartrockner und das Bügelequipment waren eine schöne Ergänzung.
  
  Die Lage ist ebenfalls ein großer Vorteil – direkt neben einer Straßenbahnhaltestelle mit direkter Verbindung ins Stadtzentrum. Eine tolle Wahl für alle, die eine private und gemütliche Atmosphäre suchen!
