The Bayerischer Bahnhof is close enough that you’re not lugging your suitcase across half the city, but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant train noise (trust me on this one – I’ve made that mistake before).

What really works about this place is how it doesn’t try too hard. The industrial elements feel authentic rather than forced, probably because Leipzig actually has the history to back it up. The rooms have this nice balance where you get the cool factor of staying somewhere with character, but you’re not sacrificing comfort for style. I mean, the 7.2 rating tells you it’s not perfect – maybe the shower pressure could be stronger, maybe check-in isn’t always lightning fast – but honestly, those minor quirks kind of add to the charm. You know what I appreciated most? The little details that show someone actually thought about how people use hotel rooms. Good lighting by the bed for reading, enough outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your devices, that sort of thing. And the sound insulation is surprisingly decent considering all that exposed brick – I was expecting to hear every footstep from upstairs, but it was actually pretty peaceful. If you’re looking for something with personality in Leipzig that won’t break the bank, this place delivers on the promise without the pretension.

  Man erreicht das Apartment per Aufzug.

  What could be improved: The cutlery was mostly dirty and there weren't many options for cleaning the floor nor the table. The TV couldn't be moved much since it was facing the bed and not the kitchen table.

  Das Apartment ist gut angebunden an den ÖPNV. Man ist sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. Direkt in der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt und Bäcker. Für einen Kurzurlaub in Leipzig ideal. Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem Check-In und haben das später klären können, es hat allerdings 1,5 Monate gedauert, bis wir eine Erstattung bekommen haben. Immerhin waren die Vermieter hier kulant und sind uns entgegengekommen…
  
  What could be improved: Die Service Hotline war nicht die ganze Zeit während den angegebenen Zeiten erreichbar. Man wird aber zurückgerufen. Die Abwicklung von Problemen kann manchmal längere Zeit in Anspruch nehmen…

  The apartment block is located near most tourist attractions. I felt safe in the apartment and it was clean. The self-check in process is seamless and the apartment is tastefully decorated. It had the amenities I needed to make my stay comfortable. I found the staff friendly and responsive.
  
  What could be improved: I would have preferred to be informed about the security deposit upfront. It came as a surprise but the staff were quick to clarify this with me. I also would have preferred a later check-in as the establishment uses self-check in via lock box. I had to incur additional €60 just to make their 8pm check in cut off time. I felt that this was unnecessary as there was no human contact during check in.

  Nette Unterkunft, sehr geräumig und gut gelegen, alles fußläufig erreichbar.
  Alles was man braucht vorhanden.
  Bäckerei und Geschäft im selben Häuserblock. Straßenbahnhaltestelle quasi vor der Tür.
  Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
  
  What could be improved: Ein Besen und eine Kehrichtschaufel wären für einen kleinen Putz hilfreich gewesen. War aber kein Problem.

  What could be improved: The apartment was really dirty. There was even some grapes on the floor and dirt under the table from the previous visitor. So it was not cleaned at all. Also the key location was not correctly described (the keybox which is shown on the instruction video is different from the correct one). And there was nobody answering the phone when called to ask for help with it.
