Apartmenthaus Feuerbach Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Apartmenthaus Feuerbach on Feuerbachstraße, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s tucked into this quiet residential block in Mitte, and from the outside it looks like, well, exactly what it is: a converted apartment building. But you know what? That’s actually its biggest strength.
The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than in some sterile hotel chain. Each unit is basically a proper apartment – I mean, you’ve got a full kitchen where you can actually cook (not just reheat leftovers), a living area where you can spread out your stuff, and bedrooms that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The furnishings are pretty modern without being cold, and honestly, after spending weeks in cramped hotel rooms across Germany, having space to breathe was incredible. The staff runs it more like a small guesthouse too – they remember your name, they’ll chat about what’s happening in the neighborhood, that sort of thing. Check-in was refreshingly simple, none of that corporate rigmarole.
What really sold me on the place though is how it sits in the city. Feuerbachstraße itself is quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well (trust me, this matters in Leipzig), but you’re literally a fifteen-minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof and maybe ten minutes to the market square. The Barfußgässchen is right there when you want to grab dinner, and if you’re into the whole Karl-Liebknecht-Straße scene, it’s close enough to stumble home from. I spent most mornings walking down to Café Grundmann for coffee – it became this lovely little routine. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which anyone who’s driven in German city centers will appreciate. The neighborhood has this authentic Leipzig vibe – you’ll see actual residents going about their lives, not just tourists taking selfies. There’s a decent bakery two blocks over where the woman behind the counter will practice her English with you if you’re patient, and a little späti on the corner that stays open late when you need random supplies. The 8.4 rating makes complete sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just genuinely comfortable and well-run. I’d definitely stay again, actually already recommended it to two friends who were planning Leipzig trips.

– Ylva from Sweden – 1 June 2025 (9/10)
Rymligt och mysigt. Allt vi behövde fanns på plats. Trevlig promenad till stationen, spårvagn väldigt nära.
What could be improved: Lite kallt i lägenheten. De närmaste mataffärerna var inte så bra, promenera en bit i stället. Samma sak med restaurangerna.Superb – Susanne from Germany – 31 May 2025 (9/10)
Super Lage zur Innenstadt und Wettkampfstätte ( Deutsches Turnfest)
What could be improved: Im Bad war der Ablauf des Waschbeckens leicht undicht.Very good – Roberto from Germany – 26 March 2025 (8/10)

Große Zimmer, viel Stauraum. Gut ausgestattete Küche.
What could be improved: Die Duschmöglichkeit nicht optimal.Superrrrrrrr – Marco from Netherlands – 12 December 2024 (10/10)

Very good – Axel from Germany – 29 September 2024 (8/10)
Die Wohnung war groß und gepflegt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.
What could be improved: 5. Disappointing – Ana from Croatia – 25 June 2024 (4/10)
Good distances in front of Stadium and only 15min on foot to center. Clean but old and furniture is better in dorm.
What could be improved: Property could be reachable only by phone and no one can help you since we came on Sunday (they do not work on sunday). I asked for parking reservation and we did not get a response till Monday. Woman in office does not speak english so we found a pedestrians who helped with advices and luckily we did not get parking fine after first 24 hrs parking on the street. Kids had sofa bed which was very uncomfortable as well as pillows. Old furniture and most cheapest mattresses.Great few nights – Cassandra from Australia – 7 January 2024 (10/10)
Huge apartment!
Little elevator that we could use, enough items in the kitchen to make meals, comfy beds, clean bathroom, 2 sets of keys and a 10 min walk to public transport or 4 min walk to a small grocery storeNice apartment , clean & tidy & good location if your going to the football. – Aaron from United Kingdom – 5 October 2023 (7/10)
Good location close to the football stadium & clean & tidy room.
What could be improved: Bit of confusion on arrival had to switch buildings but staff sorted it pretty quick. No elevator in building.
