Honestly, when I first saw the name “163 Zentrum Nord Apartment Messe,HBF,A14” I thought someone had just mashed together a bunch of German location codes – which, well, they sort of did. But you know what? It actually tells you everything you need to know about this place. It’s right there in Eutritzsch on Delitzscher Straße, and if you’re coming to Leipzig for the trade fair or need to catch an early train from the Hauptbahnhof, this spot is going to save you a lot of hassle.

The thing about this apartment hotel is that it feels more like staying in someone’s well-organized spare room than a typical hotel – and I mean that in the best way possible. The whole setup is pretty straightforward, nothing fancy but everything actually works. You’ll notice right away that it’s quieter than you’d expect for being so close to the action. Eutritzsch used to be this forgotten northern district, but it’s been slowly gentrifying over the past few years, so you get this nice mix of authentic Leipzig life without feeling like you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere. There’s a decent Turkish bakery just down the street that opens ridiculously early (perfect if you’re jet-lagged), and honestly, their coffee is better than whatever you’ll find at the hotel.

What really sold me on this place was how easy everything was. Check-in was smooth, parking wasn’t a nightmare – which, if you’ve ever tried to park near Leipzig’s city center during Buchmesse, you know is basically a miracle. The apartment itself has that typical German efficiency thing going on: clean lines, everything has its place, and the kitchen actually has the basics you need if you want to grab groceries instead of eating out every meal. The bed was comfortable enough, though the pillows are a bit firm (very German, actually). You’re about fifteen minutes by tram to get into the real heart of the city, but the S-Bahn connection is solid if you need to get to the Messe quickly. During trade fair season this area gets pretty busy, but most of the time it’s actually quite peaceful. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, and you’re not getting room service or a concierge, but for the price point and the location, it does exactly what it promises. Sometimes that’s all you really need.

  Nos occupons cet appartement pour un congrès. C'est la 3eme année. L'emplacement dans un quartier calme avec tout le nécessaire alentours est ideal, à mi-chemin entre le Messe et le centre-ville. Restaurants, supermarchés, tram dans un rayon de de 2min.
  L'appartement est propre, spacieux, simple, avec le nécessaire pour un court séjour. Les 2 couchages sont confortables.
  
  What could be improved: Ça manque un peu de maintenance. Le rideau de la cuisine devrait être changé. C'est toujours le même qui se casse un peu plus chaque année.
  La douche…Chauffe-eau très lent à chauffer…ça peut prendre 10min à laisser couler l'eau et l'eau ne se draine pas correctement.

  Alojamiento simple y basico. Facil de acceso
  A medio camino entre el centro de la ciudad y el messe.
  Restaurantes y supermercados muy cerca
  Todo muy limpio.
  Es la segunda vez que quedamos en este alojamiento y está bien.

  Spacious apartment with confutable beds, good parking spot next to the appartment, great basic facilities and utilities in the kitchen.

  Lage war super, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren gleich um die Ecke und das Appartement hat einen Parkplatz, der für beide Wohnungen zur Verfügung steht. Parkplätze gibt es aber in der Nähe problemlos. Der Gastgeber stand für alle offenen Fragen zur Verfügung und hat zeitnah geantwortet. Zugang zur Wohnung über ein Schließfach hat problemlos geklappt.
  
  What could be improved: Das einzige was unschön war, waren die benutzen Handtücher unserer Vorgänger auf dem Boden im Bad. Wahrscheinlich wurden die einfach beim Aufräumen vergessen. Kann passieren, da wir nur für eine Nacht geblieben sind, hat uns das wenig gestört, sonst hätte ich es wahrscheinlich noch angesprochen.

  Gefällt mir morgen. Eine voll funktionsfähige Küche lässt Sie einfach nicht falsch kochen. Ich habe einen großen Fernseher als sehr großen UltraHD-Monitor verwendet, Fotos und Videos von meinem handy sortiert.
  
  What could be improved: Es ist nicht so, dass es mir nicht gefallen hätte. Anstelle eines Fernsehers im Wohnzimmer können Sie einen Couchtisch und ein paar Sessel aufstellen. Ich habe nie daran gedacht, Fernsehen als Fernsehen zu sehen (ich habe es seit ungefähr 20 Jahren nicht mehr gesehen).
